Hello lovely people Is anyone free for dinner next Tuesday? Tony (Infinity Curve) and I are planning to meet up at Candle 79 (79th and Lexington) and would love others to join us. If you've not been to Candle 79, it is a gourmet vegan restaurant with raw food and gluten free options. I've been there a few times and it's always been very good. Web site and menu are here: Organic Vegan Food - NYCs Premiere Vegan Oasis: Candle 79 We are planning to meet at 6.30 pm. If there are enough of us, I will make a reservation over the weekend. Please come along, it would be great to meet other members of this forum -Lisa Last edited by LisaSparkle; 01-26-2011 at 06:28 AM. |

I would love to come, but weekdays are no good for me generally. Maybe a Wednesday night, I could squeeze in before rehearsal. Usually I am free Friday nights and Saturday. |

Tonight was fun!! I am quite happy to go to Lifethyme or Bonobo's any time anyone wants to. I think Bonobo's is only open until 8pm though. Their nori rolls are out of this world! There is also Quintessence on East 10th Street or Rockin Raw in Williamsburgh |

Quintessence would be lovely, I know they have a brunch option, at least on Sundays... I can check and see if they have it on Saturdays, otherwise we could do Sunday if you prefer. :-) OOOh this all reminds me I have to set up another Ginger-Munch (as my birthday dinner of a swath of friends-who-didn't-know-each-other ended up being christened!) |

Sweet, they open at 11 on weekends. OH wait, I have a possible conflict. I keep forgetting I have jiu jitsu now on Saturday mornings (on Staten Island), and I already have morning thing on Sunday 3/20. Hmmmm. Could we do the weekend of 26/27 instead? I could do afternoon (around 3) Saturday, or 11 on Sunday (to give me time to pick up the kids after). |

OK, I am checking now to see what time a) my class ends on Saturday and b) my evening commitment (kittening at a burlesque show) starts to see if I can fit in a late lunch Saturday 3/19. I think I can, I just want to be sure on my call time before I finalize any plans. |
