I'm new to this site and live in Las Vegas. I work in Henderson. I live in the NW part of the valley as well. Right below Aliante in the Elderado Community. Just saying hello and thank goodness I found somewhere to communicate w/ ppl. who are seeking the same things as I am. |

I will be in Las Vegas, hopefully sooner rather than later. My husband is there already; I'm still in Atlanta trying to sell our house  He lives in the Southwest part of town and that's where we plan to get a house once I'm there. We're looking in the Mountain's Edge community. I can't wait to be an official Las Vegan  It's one of my favorite cities, so I'm really excited about living there.

I also am in Vegas, in The Lakes community sandwiched between Desert Inn and Sarah right above Forte Apache. I try to do rigorous hiking out in Red Rock every weekend - maybe some would be interested in doing a meetup for some bouldering or just plain hiking? |

Hi not so populated las vegas forum!! I guess I am making my pressence known. I live in vegas, The Lakes, and have been here for almost 10 years. Have been a regular reader of this site since december of 08, and decided to finally begin communications. Hope all is well and hope to have a larger group in the near future!! |

Hi everybody! My name is Anca, I've been living in Las Vegas for 3 years now, and have been visiting Steve's site for a while. I've decided today to sign up and post on the forums  I am an aspiring environmentalist, an animal lover, concerned about health issues, and always seek improvement and information. It's really nice to converse to fellow members of our community who are interested in the same things I am. I'm not saying Las Vegas is not a wonderful city (it is to me), but I haven't really found a lot of people that are interested in anything else besides their 9 to 5 and everyday chores. Let's just say an attempt to start a conversation about The Secret would leave more blanks on my coworkers' faces than suggesting the possibility that their diet coke is full of unhealthy aspartame. Yes I am going off the grid here by actually making this offer, but it would be nice to get to know some new people who are into some of the things that I am into. Since there are a few of us vegas people hanging around on the forum anyone want to actually become friends in real life?

|  No disrespect to Vegas, but I am shocked!
I was born in Vegas and have lived here all my life, now in Green Valley. It has had it's ups and downs like any city I suppose, but I have to admit I never looked at the general population of my beloved hometown as 'intellectual'. So I am VERY pleasantly surprised to find like-minded people in my own back yard! It's very funny actually; I came to this site through a like on polyphasic sleep cycles and joined up so I could post a response. I liked the site so I started poking around a little and VIOLA!!! Not only do a handful of members live in Vegas, but so does Mr. Pavlina?! I signed up less than an hour ago and hope to get to know as many of you as I can. Maybe we can even start a local meet up group (unless there's already one I just don't know about yet..).
