| Look Closer, Hey! Ladakh is a district in J & K state and Leh is the district Head Quarters of ladakh. I have been to Leh by road from Manali in Himachal Pradesh , it took just 2 days to reach there by road and i had to take rest for 1 days because of mountain sickness. Leh is like a cold desert and you can find double hump camels there (near Leh) those are different than found in Jaipur (Rajasthan and Jaisalmair) . Due to heavy snowfall the roads are closed after 15th october. The next time i would prefer to go there by air only . These days i am traveling to other countries , like Thailand, Dubai(UAE) and now traveling to Malaysia soon. Do you also like to travel? Have you been to north east India ? |

@ Munish, i have seen j&k recently. I saw tavi only. This means enough. We could not see because we did not have enough time. Yes, i have seen punjab. We liked Amritsar a lot. I will never try to north-east india. It's bit risky and uncomfortable for me. But we have one bengali contact, so i will dare to go there. They live in calcutta. Hellow to machoman and blacko.

Went to Kamakhya Temple near Guwahati recently. It is famous for Tantriks Ritulas. According to a popular legend. Reproductive parts of Hindu goddess Parvati fell there . Kamakhya means Goddess of sex. Never been to Gokarna , will plan a visit soon to north Karnataka . -)
