Hoi, spreekt iemand hier Nederlands? Wel leuk om mensen te ontmoeten die Steve Pavlina lezen helemaal van Nederland. Hi, does anyone here speak Dutch? Fun to meet people who read Steve Pavlina all the way from Holland. |

Just visited Amsterdam for the first time yesterday. I had 4-5 hours to just walk around and enjoy the city on foot. It was very nice, clean and filled with a lot of open-minded people. I loved it! I intend to return sometime in the future and spend more time there and in the rest of Holland. Administrative Note: Please post in English. See posted rules. |

And yes, I have been to Berlin too. I know what you mean. But I loved that city for the incredible amount of history that is still visible there.

Absolutely - a visit to Berlin equates opening up a history book. I think the vibe of the city is best portrayed by the two churces at the end of the Kudamm. On the one hand the Gedächtniskirche, the partially destroyed church from WW II which they left in its semi-destroyed state, with right next to it the modern memorial church. Beautiful. I'm going back to Berlin in a few weeks: any suggestions on things I should go check out?

Hi Nederlanders! My husband and I are travelling to Amsterdam on 19th December - would anyone like to show us around? It is our first stop on our first trip to Europe, all the way from Melbourne, Australia! PM me if you have any accommodation recommendations. Or cheap shopping recommendations as well - we might have to buy some of our winter clothes in Dam Square, or nearby. My Deutsch is better than my Dutch, so I shall say 'Vielen Dank' in advance! Cheers, Claire |

Dutch by birth, Mexican in my soul, living in Belgium... Looking to move back to Amsterdam in 3 - 5 years because I just love that city! (And Utrecht, but to many students and not enough foreigners there, and I like the international crowd). And after, back to mexico in 5 - 10 years for the rest of my life, or until I get bored there... |

Okay, Yes I am from The Netherlands as well. The forumrules say that we have to write in English. I liked the idea of Ssandra (see other thread) to form a group of Pavlinastiasts and meet regularly. So are those of you who posted the dutch replies in? Send a message to Ssandra.
