i don't have an accent really, but i do say "y'all" and once in a while i say, "i'm fixin' to do it."

I guess my southern accent isn't too bad. However, I wasn't born here so that would explain it. I'm what is known as a "god damn yankee"....

Yankee - someone from up north.
Damn yankee - someone from up north visiting the south.
God damn yankee - someone from up north who came here to stay.

I was born in Indiana and moved here when I was 10. I learned this important lesson....Just keep college football holy and you'll be just fine - LOL! They take their football real serious here in the south baby!

You'll never have to worry about the football holiness around me. You get full of it fast when your spoon fed it from birth. And your a little different from the others. I grew up at the darn baseball field as my father was a coach. I also hate NASCAR. To loud, to many drinking and well, its just scary to me. No offense to my southern brothers and sisters who do like it. But I'll just stay home. thank you.

opps, did I just say that? I need to remember where I am. lol

Oh man, this is cool. I hate NASCAR too! Like you, no offense to the fans who like it but it's not for me either. I'm just not that big of a sports fan at all, really. Sounds like we are going to get along, huh?
