Hi, I'm looking to make more friends and I think it would be great to meet someone from the forums, since there is already an intimate connection with the people on these boards, they already know so much about me, and we have really helped each other work through our problems.

Hi, CroMagna...I live 90 miles North-West of you, and my work takes me to Alexandria all the time. I'm fairly new to the forum and have not really read up much; "Lightworkers" is what brought me here. I decided to stay.

I live in D.C. Whoa, I just typed something that was really weird... forgetting what forum I was on.

I'd like to see if we have any similar interests before deciding to meet up... I met up with a random person with only generally similar interests not long ago, but it turned out to be rather awkward, and I don't think our more specific interests were similar enough to make up for the awkwardness!

I'm not far from DC, and I had a reading with Erin recently who told me I needed to surround myself with more growth-oriented people - so I'd definitely be interested in meeting up. I'd see it as an opportunity to share future aspirations, current struggles, lessons learned, and to (hopefully) build friendships in the process. That's about as specific as I'm thinking right now. Does this interest anyone in the DC/MD area?

Hey, not in D.C. but I'm living in Spotsylvania, VA which is like an hour give or take from D.C. You can p.m. me to see if we have enough in common to make it worth meeting up.

All right... anyone else? I guess D.C. isn't really that populous... 600,000. Everyone I've come across here from "D.C.," technically lives in Maryland or Virginia. I literally live in D.C., though.

I live near Rockville, MD but I commute to DC on a regular basis for my internship. I would love to meet up with people!

I think that no matter what individual interests we have we could all form some sort of CG-support group.

Have you been to Big Ben's Chili Bowl? Saw this on Man vs Food and it looks pretty good!

They don't have anything vegan as far as I know. At least, when I called, the person who answered the phone sounded like he didn't know the difference between vegan and vegetarian, so I was like screw it. It was my birthday. But I had to go because I was in a program, and we ended up stopping so I could get some Chinese take-out and eat it there while everyone else ate hotdogs and chili cheese fries. They do have vegetarian options, though.

You're welcome to be in charge of that if you want. Personally, I'd rather see if we have anything in common first... in my experience, that increases the "conscious" growth aspect.

Hi I live in the DC area and I was lookign to build with conscious people. I found a place called Awakening Light International full of conscious people who are studying and using universal laws. Currently we are studying Emilie Cady's Lessons in Truth. Check it out Awakening Light International
