I want to start a house filled with people on the same mission in life... Conscious Growth. I am 23 and just graduated college, I want to start my life with like-minded people around me. Anyone down to start a Pavlina House? I was thinking 4-5 young guys on the same path. We want to carve out our OWN path in this world. If this sounds exciting to you too send a message! C'mon, let's do it!!!!! -Eric |

So a Pavlina house, owned by Steve Pavlina. Fate? Divine Cosmic Intervention? My Intentions Coming to Being? Hey Steve, I am already sold. Let everyone know if you are serious, and you will have a list out of the country. |

I've often thought it would be cool to do something special with that house, like inviting a small group of people to live there and work on conscious growth together. Maybe produce some videos with weekly progress updates. I'm open to possibilities, but I don't have the capacity to seriously consider anything till after the workshop. |

Exactly! It would be easy to facilitate growth if you are surrounded by others that are growing all day. Plus, how cool would it be to bounce ideas off of each other, have a live-in personal accountability group, and be able to tackle challenges together. If anyone else is interested, PM or email me! By the way, nice website - I never knew oversleeping might be causing me headaches! |

If you can be inspired by contrast - more power to you. Most people would not be. Perhaps it would help clarifying what you really want? The universe will deliver in every case. There are even ways to have the best of both worlds. During my studies, for example, I lived in a house with 3 other musicians. The house had 4 apartments and we each had our own but could meet if and whenever we wanted.

People's differences are what makes socialising so great in the first place. If everyone had the same opinions, agreed with everything you said and got along perfectly with you all the time, you wouldn't gain any personal growth from socialising. I've lived with many different people, all with different ideals, religions, ethics and interests. While some people have been more challenging to get along with than others, I've benefited hugely from living with each and every one of them. While there needs to be some common ground to establish a relationship, it's understanding the differences that provides you with the best opportunities for personal growth.

Three months ago I would have loved this idea and would be totally up for it (esp. since I already live in Las Vegas). But now, having finally tasted the very sweet and wonderful fruit of living alone, I don't know if I'm ready to go back to living with roomates! |

I encourage ALL different kinds of people to join the Conscious Growth house and pursue every possible avenue of growth. Whatever weird idea you have, do it, that's how this type of thing is going to be successful and fun. I think being messy or loud could be an area of growth. In terms of limits, just don't mess up roommates growth and I think everything will be smooth. I am looking at moving to the San Diego/LA area in November/December. So get money saved up and we can start this thing. I'll update as I go along, but if you are really interested PM me your email and I'll keep in contact. And I'm still open to the idea of Steve's old house if that works out. Eric PS - the workshop was pretty sweet, I definitely recommend going to the next one if you missed out. |

Hey guys, COUNT ME IN for the growth house! I think it's an AWESOME idea, even just for, say, 30 days of immersion in that kind of environment, that's enough time to break your old habits and form new ones.

Have any of you ever read The Game by Neil Strauss? The idea of a conscious growth house sounds really similar to Project Hollywood, just without the whole teaching men to become pickup artists routine. Sounds fantastic!! I really like Michelle's idea of having your own space to live, but with a community room where everyone can get together. I think this is something that could be really great!, and why limit it to just one house? We could take the country by storm and establish one in a every major metropolitan area in the United States and many countries overseas. There are enough individuals on this forum from every walk of life to make it possible. Anyway, I would be ready to start a house in January. If anyone is interested in conscious living in the Denver area, send me a PM or let me know! |

You know, if there's more than 4 people interested we should start more than one house. It doesn't need to be just Vegas either. UK, Australia, China? There's lots of options. I'm very interested in this. If you're reading this and want a positive, friendly housemate with frugal tendencies, let me know. I'm in Japan right now, but planning to be in the UK from April to start another home-based company. |

So, I think the idea of a conscious growth house should be revisited. *bump* ... what do people think of a handful of interested people renting a house together for, say... a month? I think it sounds like a grand idea. Thoughts? |
