Hey, is anyone else here from Minnesota? I'm living here for the year, and think it would be interesting to talk with some like-minded people from the area!

I lived there for 13 years, though. What part of Minnesota? I recommend checking out Uptown if you can, that is where you will most likely find some of the more enlightened folk in the area...

Hello! I'm not in MN but I'm close (Des Moines, IA). I have family all over MN and northern IA. I wonder how many midwestern folks we'll find here.

I'm currently living in Wisconsin but lived in the Twin Cities for ten years. Hopefully there'll be more folks from the midwest joining up.

My favorite restaurant in MN is in uptown, Ecopolitan. Uptown is on Lyndale just south of downtown Minneapolis. I live 80 miles South of Minneapolis in Rochester.

Actually, I'm in a suburb just outside Minneapolis, but it's easier for folk 'round the world to recognize Minneapolis, MN than random suburb X.

Yes, frozen solid... My furry dog still loves our early morning walks though (whilst I'm bundled like the kid from A Christmas Story). I really have to wonder what it'd take for him to get cold!

LOL That is quite an image! I bet its hard to walk all bundled up that good LOL Yeah you wonder how animals can stay warm in this weather,even with all that fur. I mean,my head has hair too but it still feels the cold! lol

Yeah he loves it outside. Snow was blowing sideways this morning, so he didn't get a walk (I have limits!).
