Hello, my name is Loi. I don't really remember how I found this place it was so long ago. I like reading, writing, GTD (to a certain extent), drawing, watching movies and trying new things. I was thinking about starting an online support group. We could meet up every once in a while in a live chat room. Anyone who's interested post here with times you would be available. I've tried making events for people who lived in many places around the world with day/night/graveyard jobs and family/other responsibilities. I've personally found it works better to set a stable time that you (the moderator) can be around for the event rather than trying to hop in at 3:am, a bit at 7:am, nothing till 4:30 and then maybe pop in at 11  m on Saturdays. @.@

That sounds like a good idea Zwynd. The first meeting will be Friday (January 2) at 6:00 pm using the gmail chat service. Gmail accounts are easy to get and if anyone's unsure of how to get one I can help (my email address is middens.is.hott@gmail.com). I'd like to say something like "I don't have enough time to ensure a fully running online self-help group" but since I'm on a self-help site I know no one would take that. :P So the real reason is that I'm more focused on other things in life (mostly education and enjoying my Winter break ). If anyone else thinks they could do this, that would be awesome. Sincerely Loi13 |
