I don't think most people are looking at the Local Groups folder yet. I'd invite you over, except that I'm not terribly proud of my living environment. *goes looking for an innocence smiley, since he's using quick reply*

Hey Seattle folks, Are we all having fun in the snow this year? Still? My kids are about to find out they're out of school yet again... So far, they've missed over five days this year from snow, and even they are beginning to get tired of it. But we'll get those sleds out one more time anyway...It makes for great photos for the scrap book... Take care and be safe all. Pam |

| Member | Earlier this morning I was all sorts of cranky that I couldn't make it into work because of the snow. Mad because I couldn't make it to work? What's wrong with me? I suppose it means I like my job. But I've decided that instead of being upset I'm going to play in the snow because I haven't had any "fun in the snow" this year yet. - Nicole

I hear ya Nicole, I've had to give up my own agenda for a week now...and that's just this snowfall. Every day, we drag out the sleds and hit the hill close by. The kids are having a great time, and I'm learning how to just be...for two or three hours... It's like a meditation or something. I take a run or two down the hill myself also but just hate that feeling of wet snow down my shirt. But it's refreshing? Hope you have fun playing today too. Take care, Pam |

Heh. I have to walk through the snow to get to school. Problem is that my shoes are old, so I slip easy. *grins* It's a great way to practice keeping my balance when I have little to no traction to work with.

You're building resistance to the cold.

Hello and blessings! My husband and I will be living in the Snohomish area soon. We have been in a rut, living in the Spanaway area with a dead end job and complaining about it for way toooooo long. Both my hubby (Rey) and I logically knew about the law of attraction, but we spent our many years not putting it into practice. We are in our 40s and just finally spiritually got it. Now, our intentions that we are set out to manifest to live our dreams and only attract in our lives people and things that help our dreams come true. Time is NOW, we are going to live our dreams. Once we get up in the Snohomish area, we are open to either joining a group or starting a group, where we could get together and be of support to the other. If there isn't a meeting place up there, but there are those of you looking for one, just let us get unpacked and settled and we would be most willing to open our home for get togethers. Take care, Amanda Miller P.S. A dream that seemingly dies is only sleeping and waiting to be awakened to be lived out in our reality. |

Hey folks. I'm sorry, I started this thread in November and then just came back to it now! Anyhow, GREAT to see all the activity on the topic since. A friend of mine in Seattle and I were talking about how cool an experience it would be to meet up with some people from the forums for coffee, and it sounds like there's already some interest among all of you. So, if I were to organize a get-together in Seattle, probably coffee or something similarly low-key, would you be interested? |

We're having a local meeting tomorrow night (Thursday) in central Seattle. PM rohit with your email address if you want to know when and where! (Just thought I'd bring this thread back up to the top!) Rebecca |
