Hiya, I'm from Gateshead too, and there is a personal development group in the area - it's called Life Clubs, they run weekly 90-minute personal development workshops all over the UK (and in Canada as well). They're really good - I just signed up to tell you about it! Their website is Life Clubs. They have a Facebook page too Life Clubs | Facebook. Definitely worth checking out.

Peterborough calling.

Won't be here much today though as I'm going to the Edinburgh Festival to watch my wife, Jo, perform on the Fringe. She is part of something called 'A Pint of Poetry & a Dram of Drama' at Scotland's most haunted pub, The Banshee Labyrinth.

"A Pint of Poetry and a Dram of Drama is an open mic spoken word event from Peterborough. You know, near Cambridge. For 4 years it has hosted local poets, bards of the fens and MCs. In Edinburgh for the first time. We bring some of PTowns best wordy talent to you."
