From Long Island... Suffolk County to be exact.. but I do work in NYC at the moment (hopefully that'll change once I start working for myself)... but nevertheless.. good to see east coast people on these forums...

Hello!

I would love to join your group here. I live in Montana and travel to Manhattan about every other month or so to learn more guitar and vocal and to play music with people---jazz, with a pretty wide stylistic breadth, really-- especially Brazilian jazz and I'm also doing some pretty intensive vocal training with the help of a classical singer.

I love Manhattan and have been staying in the Upper West Side, a walk away from my vocal coach's studio. Every time I go, I learn more about your wonderful city.

So...OK if I join you?

i'm in williamsburg, too, soon to be in park slope (i hope!) ... i would be up for a get together for sure.

anyone have any timeframes in mind?
i am thinking maybe the first week of december? we could meet for dinner or coffee or drinks and definitely conversation before the holiday season gets too wacky.

I used to live in Brooklyn until 3 years ago when I moved to Northern NJ(about 1.5hrs away from Brooklyn with normal traffic)

Hi all,

I live in Brooklyn and work in Tribeca. I have a meetup scheduled for Thursday the 16th, and everyone is welcome to come.

The New York Polyphasic Sleep Meetup Group (New York, NY) - Meetup.com

The topic is technically for polyphasic sleep, but I classified it as personal growth since the categories were limited and because I'm doing it for personal growth reasons (I might consider expanding the meetup topic?). Steve Pavlina introduced me to the sleep schedule, and his website has been an inspiration to me beyond polyphasic sleep.
