Hi there! I am looking to form/join a mastermind group to keep myself on-track with my career goals/finances/distance education courses. I am a 28-year-old single mom, a home-owner, employed full-time, and an aspiring teacher (working on my BA part-time and have been since 2000). My son plays competitive hockey, and to top it all off, I have just started dating again - I am busy to say the least and need a way of staying on track. I would like to form a group that meets at least once a month (maybe more frequently, depending on our goals) to discuss different topics and keep each other on track. A few things I think we could discuss are: - personal goals/future aspirations - finances - tasks - similar interests - relationships Any input on other possible topics would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking we could meet on Friday evenings, or Saturday afternoons, at a mutually agreed upon, centrally located place in Toronto (I live in Scarborough and drive). Maybe we could even take turns hosting at our homes, or meet in a lounge-type atmosphere. Please let me know if you are interested. I think a group of 4 - 8, committed members who are seriously interested in giving this a shot would be ideal. Hope to hear from you soon! Hey Samantha, I am quite passionate about personal growth and have been for well over a decade now. Basically I like to grow as a person in every single field. It would be nice to meet like minded people. Majority of the people, though very nice and well intentioned just get bogged down with their day to day life and forget all about personal growth. It would be nice to know people who are on a similar track as I am so we can help each other grow. That's it in a nutshell. :-) Ricky

Hi Ricky, It certainly is easy to get "sucked in" to day-to-day life and let personal goals/growth slip through the cracks. That is one of the main reasons I'd like to start this group Anyone else interested? |

Hmmm...I read the thread, but I'm not sure it's a fit. I'm not really looking for a green-conscious group (although the environment is important to me). It's more of a motivation/support group that I'm hoping to form, around the same basic areas of interest. Your thoughts? |

Hey Samantha, Actually that's a good point. I just assumed that it was a motivational and support group as well. hmm.. I am also looking more for the same group that you're looking for. No prob. We'll find some more people :-)
