The intent was: Christian is also from Mainz ( 2nd guy ) and also studies in Kaiserslautern. So the probability was high that you knew him.

Tach Tobias - I was born in Hamburg, but have lived in Cape Town for almost 23 years now. We're moving back to Europe in 2 weeks, though - most probably end up in Austria.

I know Bielefeld a bit - my mother lives around the corner in Detmold.

Ich bin in Frankfurt/Main beheimatet. Der Mainzer Raum ist über die Grenzen hinaus stark vertreten, merkte ich gerade.

Vielleicht ergibt sich ja mal die Gelegenheit, sich zu treffen. Interessant wäre es auf alle Fälle.
