Experiment:

I had a moment of inspiration yesterday about an experiment I'd like to try.

The general idea is this...

It is along the lines of Steve's million dollar experiment but slightly different, in Steve's experiment anybody can join and everybody held the same intention (which was to receive a million dollars). This was a good experiment.

My experiment is slightly different but along the same lines, I'm suggesting that their be 30 participants to start out (this corresponds to the next 30 days). Each person gets 1 day, and the other 29 participants intend for that person to receive one thousand dollars (a little more digestible than 1 million).

So for example:

Day one: (the thought held by the other 29 people would be like this)
Today, I intend for (insert participant name here) to receive a thousand dollars of unexpected income for the greatest good of all.

The participant of the day would hole the intention of receiving a thousand dollars of unexpected income today...

Each day a new person (of the 30 participating) would be selected to be the intention recipient. The though that came through to me was "concentrated intentions" where everybody focused their intentions toward an open recipient in a giving attitude.

I'm going to be a little busy with my 30 days to success LoA project, but I would be glad to hold the intention in mind for whoever is participating that day.

I can't figure out what, but there's something about this that doesn't sound right to me. I'm not trying to be negative, because I love LoA and manifesting, I do it all the time. However, I think if you do this you're programming yourself NOT to receive $1000 for 29 days, ONLY allowing yourself to receive $1000 on one day.

You're also telling the universe a specific "when" and a specific "amount". I find when I do that, typically my ego worries about not receiving the money on that specific day, whereas if I am more open with the universe and say something like "Money is NOW flowing to me freely and easily for the greatest good of all" I get better results because my ego doesn't fight it as much because there is nothing for it to argue about.

ie. Let's say I join and get put in as #10. On days 1-9 I will be subconsciously programming the thought "Today is ___'s turn to get $1000, not mine" so that day I won't get anything even if the universe wanted to give me the money because it was easiest and best for the good of all for it to happen on that day. Then, on day 10 I will be thinking "Oh goody, it's MY day today! I'm excited, I'll get my $1000 today." but soon that will turn into "Hmm...it's 10am, nothing yet eh? Hmmm...wonder if it will work... what if it doesn't work? That would suck.... hmmm...." and your "belief" turns to "disbelief".

Also, something I learned recently too is that the universe doesn't always deliver in cash. For example, if you want $1000, the universe could give you that money in an asset appreciation that you don't notice. For example, I once intended a specific amount and it didn't show up. However, later on I found out that my house went up in value in that same amount. I've had that happen with stocks, and other assets. Of course, I've also had cash In fact the other day i woke up, got out of bed and looked on the floor and saw USD $13 on the floor. I'm in Canada, so I have no idea where it came from. My wife thinks maybe it fell out of one of her pockets from when she went down to the states a while back, but I know better. I recently made some intentions to attract specific amounts of money.

I like your idea, of getting 30 people together to attract a smaller amount. I am just not sure if your implementation is the best. There's something disempowering about the implementation, I just can't put my finger on it. My intuition is sending out red alerts though.

It's not about you or me, I'm not doing this for me per say (not in the way of what can I get out of this). it's about the others involved, I'm approaching this with a giving attitude not a getting one.

So what is your suggestion...? I'm thinking it's about attention, if the recipient can keep the mind set of today I'm going to receive 1000.00 with the help of friends, and have trust this will happen (this may be difficult but achievable). You example is an example of doubt mentality, can you site an example of trusting mentality...?

I see what your saying, I'm a believer in LOA as well (I've had some experiences that are like WOW, but their kind of sporadic) but isn't there a difference between IM and LOA. Help us out... This experiment in my mind would fall under IM (intention manifestation). as a group we have the same intention (to receive 1000.00, but instead of it being all about me, I combine my intention with 29 other people to give to another. we're all working together to achieve a goal, for each other)

I'm searching my soul for wisdom as to why this experiment is giving me a "no no" feeling. I'm getting the feeling that perhaps this is a great experiment for you guys at this point in time, but unnecessary for me because I've already gone past this in my experience. If that's all it is, then ignore everything I said and continue with your experiment as it will surely provide you with valuable experiences.

Maybe it's kind of like if my friend called me tonight and said "Listen, we're all getting up at 4am tomorrow to drive up to the mountain top in the park to see if the sun comes up, it's gonna be great! You want to come see if it actually comes up?" And I'm saying "Uhhh..no thanks, I already know it will come up, I'd rather sleep in."

I'll offer these suggestions if you guys want:
(1) Give your group of 30 a name, like "The Circle of 30" or something you can link all the names into one group.
(2) Make your intention something along the lines of "Money is NOW flowing rapidly to our Circle of 30 freely and easily, building our belief in the Law of Attraction even further, for the greatest good of all"
(3) Have everyone in the Circle of 30 have this intention every day of the 30 days, instead of 1 person per day. This eliminates any guilt about being "greedy". You conveniently are included in the Circle, but you're really intending the money to flow to everyone.
(4) Have the members post ALL sources of money flowing in as they come in. This includes "I found a penny this morning, so I picked it up." Be creative, make a little box in your house for any money you "create" and put it into that box for 30 days.
(5) Be aware of unusual ways the universe might be bringing you money, not just cash.
(6) Any skeptics that attack the reporting of what money you "created" should be ignored for the 30 days. They will post, just ignore them. Don't allow the "Circle of 30" to argue with anyone whether they "Created" the money or if it's "Luck, Co-Incidence" or such. You shouldn't have to argue if you truly believe.

That's it. Those are my suggestions.

If you implement those changes, I'll join just for fun. I can't promise I'll do my intention all 30 days in a row, but I will do my best. Reading this forum will definitely help to keep in moving.

Oh wait, one more suggestion. Start right away even with a few people. The circle of 30 doesn't have to have 30 in it yet. The universe will ATTRACT people to JOIN the circle as a means to help that person attract money.
