If I understand correctly, the LoA works by actually thinking, feeling and acting as if your intentions are actually manifested. I am having great difficulty with this one. My problem is, I cannot stop thinking about what it is I don't want. Example: I have lots of debt. It keeps me up at night, worrying how to pay bills, how to save money, etc. I want to think about what life would be like without this debt, however, I can't. I feel like I don't even know what that would feel like. The feeling seems too ambiguous to visualize. I can't even affirm it in a positive way. I would affirm that "I want to be out of debt". But that's wrong, right? I'm supposed to say or think "I am financially secure", or something like that. The problem is, I don't even buy that. It's too vague, I can't even visualize that. And secondly, when I take my attention away from my debts, I feel like I'm burying my head in the sand. I feel like I'm shirking my responsibilities. (don't get me wrong, I don't neglect my bills) just the mere fact of taking a break from thinking about how to get out of this mess makes me feel guilty. Like I'm trying to wish it away or something. The LoA seems to be working beautifully as I'm manifesting more of what I do not want. Yes, I know...every time I think of debt, I'm putting in an order to the "universe" to give me more of the same. And it's working. I would like to get over this hump of only being able to think about what I don't want rather than what I do want. Any suggestions? |

Any race car driver would tell you that you should always look in the direction that you want to go... and not where you fear you might go... (aka... the fence...) Since you cannot focus on two things at the same times... it is definitely better and more productive to concentrate on solutions rather than on the problem... granted... it's may not be easy... but it can be done... The very best of luck to you... . |
