Default Happy ending!

for many people, including me and Erin, success lies on the other side of broke. You can't fool the LoA. It knows when your desire burns true enough to stay the course no matter what. It won't yield its treasure to mere hope.

Broke is nothing. It's like a mosquito bite. If a lack of funds gets you down, then pursue your dream for free.
Hey guys, thanks so much for the advice re: my post about being broke and depressed. You are so right that broke is irrelevant and just a test to see how bad you want it.

I checked my email 45 minutes ago and my agent says an offer for my book was made today. It's enough money to get me out of debt and keep me afloat until I finish writing the book.

I'm really, really happy because this restores my faith in a lot of things. The LoA/universe, people who preach this stuff, and in myself. Was beginning to think maybe I wasn't a good writer!

Anyway, thanks so much. I'll keep you guys posted and certainly wish everyone on this board continued success and fulfillment, including Steve!

A big congrats, Dave!

And next time don't lose faith so easily. The LoA just likes to toy with us sometimes.

Good to hear, Dave! The LoA was working perfectly after all. I hope this experienced has served as a poweful lesson for you.

Good luck with finishing your book!

And remember, in the words of the famous the Energizer battery:

"Never say die!"

(If you like, you can download a pretty nifty desktop program from the Energizer website that displays a PC wallpaper with a "Never say die!" themed quote from some figure from history. Maybe you could use it to help keep your thoughts on moving forward no matter what, which is certainly an LoA friendly idea. I've tried it myself, and it was pretty simple, but it served its purpose just fine. For more info or to download it, check out this page: Energizer.com - Keep Going Quotes)
