 |  Has anyone here cured an illness?
About 4 months ago I was diagnosed with cancer and I saw the movie The Secret. With the power of the law of attraction I had overcome it and that was without chemotherapy or medical attention. After that I knew that the LoA really worked!  Anyways, has anyone done something similar to me? Cured a cold, virus, or an illness? What makes it easier for YOU? I think it's pretty interesting how a placebo effect can change our bodies so dramatically. If only the whole world knew about this...  ...hmm....

All I had to do was just believe and feel that I was in a perfectly healthy body. I kept telling myself that I was done with my treatment and I could live normally. At first it seemed like a lie, but then I completely forgot I had cancer and I was just thinking positive. Luckily I was in the early stages of cancer so I healed up very fast  .Before I started using the LoA when I was younger I really wanted to go to my friends house for his birthday party but I couldn't since we were waiting to get the culture results back from the doctor's office. I convinced myself that I didn't have strepthroat and I was feeling a whole lot better , but then the next day I really did have it. I guess it didn't completely get rid of it  but through that thinking, the symptoms were gone.

Nolan, wonderful! I think that it's good for all of us to maintain ongoing intentions to keep ourselves living healthfully and being at top health, no matter whether or not we have or have had diagnoses of one sort of another. the best of good health to all ! |

| I know a guy...
An older man I know overcame two major illnesses thta the doctors said he would die from--he says it was because he just wanted to beat it... he just ignored the doctors and went about life as usual (instead of staying in bed, etc), and the problems went away. Another woman I have great respect for beat cancer twice in her life (and her dogs also beat major illnesses as well...) and we don't know how... I knew this woman during the last one--she had a tumor in her brain that disappeared without warning or a sign in the span of two six-week checkups. She was expected to die of it within six months. (As for the dogs, one of them had a tumor that turned out to be benign, and the other had tons of problems with joints and her heart and thyroid that all resolved themselves.) Don't know exactly how they did it, but all that matters is the end result, right? ~Jm4362 |

I wouldn't really say that the LoA cured my brain tumor, but it definitely made is less aggressive, as the doctors commented on how it wasn't growing as fast as it usually does and that something must be fighting it off. And I definitely see the merit in the Law of Attraction in curing anything, simply because intending to cure yourself may open new doors, such as a healthier eating regiment or possibly a new outlook on your situation. Good reading though.

A friend has suggested to me to focus on curing an eye problem I have. However the retinal cells have degenerated. As I understand it they are not going to regenerate ever again. I understand about focus on something going away (cancer) but what about something coming back that has gone? I am also afraid that focusing on being cured is denial. ??

I injured my knee and couldnt walk at all for months. I went to the biggest specialists in the country. They all said It needed to be operated. I said no. I knew an operation would make it worse. I decided I will heal myself with my thoughts. I filled notebooks with the statement "I can walk without pain". I prayed. I asked for the answer in my dreams. I got it, I dreamt my leg was just a bone covered with skin. no muscle. I woke up and I knew I must work on my muscle.I started doing physiotherapy everyday (it cost a fortune). And I completely healed myself. its been 2 years now, my knee is still good.

Using EFT I've seen people "cure" arthritis, RSI (Overuse syndrome) various aches and pains, colds, asthma, eczema. Oh and my eyesight has been improved. Not cancer though so far. Although a lady came to see me once who'd had cancer and had realised it was her family relationships that were behind it. We worked on them together.

Yeah I am in no way an expert but from everything I read, you would be better phrasing an intention for health rather than avoiding illness So it would be better stating "my knee is incredibly healthy......it is flexible and comfortable at all times" BUT HEY, WHAT DO I KNOW....YOUR METHOD WORKED AND YOU OBVIOUSLY KNOW MORE ABOUT THE LOA THAN I I can only claim anecdotal evidence as to date I have had only minor (but to me reasonably impressive) results and they could be attributed to other reasons but I am grateful anyway |

Several years ago I had a fungal infection around my fingernails on one hand. It caused my skin to become dry, cracked, and discolored. I was really busy with work at the time, so I ignored the problem for months -- and also because I'm a guy. I could have gone to the doctor to have it treated, but I decided to try using the mind-body connection to see if I could heal it on my own. For three days I meditated for 10-20 minutes, imagining my body healing and my fingers returning to normal. After the first day I didn't notice any change. On the second day it looked like there was some improvement, and by the third day the infection was completely gone and my skin was totally normal. I didn't expect that result so quickly, so I was a bit shocked at how well it worked. |

I am glad you fixed yourself without the use of lethal methods medicine currently has. There are many such cases and I do believe in healing of this nature (especially cancer)... BUT you might want to figure out WHAT caused the loss of containtment in the first place. It is usually prolonged exposure to guilt, anger, hatred, resentment or a combination of these and other negative feelings. Without the root cause gone, it might reappear as cancer or something else. You could say "it was genetic. I was destined to get it", there still needs to be a trigger of some sort. Another possibility is that maybe it was for you to learn how to heal yourself and not necessarily because you had anything negative. I certainly hope it was this last one. In the meantime, I don't see any reason why you couldn't use conventional medicine to literally hold yourself together long enough to sort these things out. I had experienced several health problems for many years. I will not go into the precise details, but one of the symptoms was bleeding. I started to believe that i was better. I visualised in a feeling kind of way that i was better, and the bleeding stopped about a year and a half ago. About 2 months ago, I was stressing out, and the bleeding returned. I noticed that my mind set had drifted to identifying with past experience (health issues) as who i was. I stopped fighting within myself. I began to realise I was sensing other peoples warring/ fighting energy & feeding it. It was not a nice thing for the body to be tearing itself apart. I re set my intention, redirected my thinking whenever it returned to the old identification, and returned to using visualization as before. Interestingly, I found that I was meeting up with people that were more aligned with my new intention, and people who were not so aligned with my intentions just seemed to be out of reach. Bleeding stopped about a month ago. Healing seemed to accelerate as I began take some time out to relax, and look after myself with the right food, and mild exercise. |

She completely belived she could see again, gained her vision and only after that her nerves regenerated. I've read it in dr. Several years ago, I noticed a small lump in my breast. I ignored it, and as time went by, it grew larger, and larger, until it was about the size of a golf ball. I didn't go have it checked out, so I don't know what it was, and I decided to just put my hand on it, and using Reiki, I visualized it disloving, and shrinking. I did this everyday, and I noticed it gradually getting smaller, and smaller. In five months, it was gone. |

Funny how I came across this thread today, speaking of the LoA. Yesterday, I found out that my mother was diagnosed with cancer. I'm not at the least bit worried and neither is she. We just know that it's going to go away, without any medical attentions. I am so confident in the LoA curing her. Mainly because back in August, I taught my 16 yr old niece how to use the LoA attraction to cure her asthma. And it worked, within a few weeks of her visualizing and being in alignment, it was gone! Absolutely gone! The same asthma that had, on multiple occasions, almost taken her life. And it wasn't a gradul change. It went form bad to gone! She's been running the mile, without even getting whizzy. She hasn't used an inhaler since August. It's just simply amazing. My niece gave me all the faith I needed in the LoA. I'm 100% confident that it will work to cure my mother. |
