Do any of you keep a journal or blog that discusses the results of your intentions or experiences with the Law of Attraction? I've noticed that it's helped me to keep a journal with lists of synchronicities that relate to my intentions (as well as goals I've achieved through intending something). I first got this idea from Acting Like Godot, who has extensively documented his experiences with the Law of Attraction. Steve and Erin also talk about journaling, and I wanted to know if any of you keep records of synchronicities and the results of intentions in your life.

I keep various journals. One about LoA, all the nice little things I manifest in daily life, synchronicities I notice, "strange" things happening, plus my big, written intentions, and how they do manifest or do not manifest, and all my thoughts about this manifesting or lack of manifesting. It's helping me a lot, since I do some errors again and again. Journaling has helped me a lot finding out those errors. Then two journals inspired by A new Beginning : one in which I (should) write down every morning how I want to feel / be, what I want to have, and what I want to do today. And then my "Book of Positive Things" in which I (should) write down every week everything positive about things / people / circumstances in my life. And one more : my journal with random stuff, about my life in general and personal development, what's happening, what I understand, what I learn, how I grow... All this is redundant. But as I write regularly in none of them, I guess altogether it's like keeping one journal partially dealing with my results with the LoA.

Currently my blog is accessible only by password. I have, however, been toying with the idea of starting a brand new blog open to everyone who wants to read. It will basically be a diary of what I'm trying to manifest; how I'm doing it, and what actually happens in my life ...... There are two main reasons why I would do a new blog. Firstly, my existing blogs have a lot of personal info and details about my personal life, and for the sake of privacy, it could be better for me to do a new blog. Secondly, I am in the process of rethinking lots of goals, trying to decide what I really want out of life, what's important to me etc. So this would be a good time to have a brand new blog too. I think it would be fun and interesting, if a bunch of us (from this forum) all started blogging about LOA as applied in our personal lives ...... We could visit each other's blogs and probably learn from each other as well as encourage each other ..... Anyone game for this? For those new to blogging, well, basically it's simple and free ... You go to Blogger or Wordpress and you register for a free account, then you click, click, click with your mouse, and your blog is ready to go. You type stuff, click "Publish" and the article appears on the Internet. Not much more complicated than email.

Hi ALG, I also keep a private blog where I record synchronicities and manifestations in my life. I had it public for a little bit, but then changed it to be a private blog. I record stuff like the things I mentioned in this post: tried to intend a hot nurse I may make it public, but I wanted to record some more impressive stuff first and figure out a repeatable method of working with the LoA. That is part of my rationale for my 30 days to success post here: http://www.stevepavlina.com/forums/intention-manifestation/9919-ask-given-30-days-success.html

As for me, I've TRIED to use journals for years. First, like memoirs. Didn't work. Then, like problem solving tool. Didn't work out too. Now, I just stick with writing out the things I don't want to forget, like lessons I've learned, do some planning, or have a pep-talk with myself, about my goals and whatnot. |
