All I have been thinking about for the last 2 weeks is the "Mothman Prophecies"
It just came to my mind about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I had followed it for awhile after I saw the movie.
I thought the movie was just kinda strange and weird.
But I had been thinking about it.
About the people and the xmas presents in the water...
Then last week I took my son to basketball camp and there was a van in the parking lot that had a bumper sticker that said "The Mothman Prophecies".
I went to the web site and read the lastest info.
And it kinda stayed in my mind.
And now I am freaked out hearing about this bridge collapse...
Is it just me?
I went to wikipedia and looked up silver bridge and it said that this bridge was build the same year the silver bridge collapsed and wikipedia was already updated b/w 6:00 pm last night and 6:00 am with info on the similarities b/w the 2 bridges.
I am a wee bit freaked...
Am I going overboard?

How you look at it all depends on how you believe reality works and asking everyone will give you conflicting messages. Someone who believes in god will give you the 'god version' of what's going on, same with SR, collective consciousness, coincidence/accident theory and so on.

The important thing is how do you believe everything works. I can tell you what I think is happening, but that's my POV, if you share it, then we're on the same page, but if you don't then it won't make much sense.

Do you believe in SR? god? universal consciousness? scientology? coincidence? How ever you believe reality works will explain what's going on in your life right now.

I'm not purposefully being vague, just attempting to make you see what you're really asking

Things like you describe happen to me all the time, most recently is names on the television. For instance, I'll hear the name chris on the tv, and i'll think hey that's my name, then i'll see chris over and over and over and over (all on different channels, not just in the same program). It happens with just about anything i put my mind on, it gets kind of wierd sometimes but in a good way.

more and more in SR over the last year. It just makes sense to me and it feels right.
Over the last 2 weeks I have been focusing on the name game. (Or word game). I thought of purple because of Prof Max's thread last week, but didn't really try to focus...just was thinking about that thread alot.
When my boss said..."My face went purple"...I thought...whoa...this is cool.
Then I tried the word orange last week...so I focused on the word orange
and I saw 2 different people with orange shirts...no one said orange though so I didn't think that it counted...perhaps I was more alert to orange anything. So I kept focused on orange and after my intention I thought...

During that time The Mothman popped into my mind...why I don't know...and in the following days I kept seeing the green van with The Mothman bumper sticker and it picqed my interest and I looked for anything new about the case on the net.
I think my thoughts were heard and recognized. I had thought I was focusing on orange but got sidetracked by the Mothman.
I don't think my thoughts caused a bridge to collapse though.
I think I made a request that I be shown I was being heard and it was answered in a way that I would definately notice.
But I did freak out a wee bit...
Mr. McToots is from the auld country...Scotland...and deep down he has got some beliefs about sight.
He got rattled by this and doesn't want to talk about it...
He had to drink a whiskey...

The empowering part of accepting responsibility for your life, no matter how kooky, amazing and sometimes scary the manifestations is............if you controlling any of it on any level, that means you just have to stretch out your power and control it all. You are anyway, so might as well, start creating the exact life you require
