Darkworker/lightworker help...

I'm not certain if this is the right place to post this, so someone move the thread if need be. Regardless, one of the problem that I have encountered is which direction to polarize. I would like to go towards love, but really, my life is consumed and revolved around fear. I feel inadequate in a lot of areas in my life and my pursuit of personal development, mental and physical, is to conquer fears that I feel have a crippling effect on my life. The lightworker path appeals to me and is a person that I would like to become, but I feel that the person that I "am" is a darkworker. I was raised by television, so it's no surprise that I have been conditioned to live on fear and inadequacies.

My question is if I went the lightworker path, would it not be as effective since my roots are set on the darkworker path? I believe the life I have been living has been a tug of war, leaving me numb, anxious and unproductive.

I read all about dark/light workers and all I could get from it was that it was just a way to confuse how you feel about your creative power. Creative power is.......creative power. Observation is creation.

Of course I'm a bit of a dummy so I could be missing something, but it doesn't bother me if I am, I'm ignorant in my bliss.
