I know that when you are manifesting and visualizing, your supposed to do your visualize and then let it out into your day, as in do it and then when your done dont be thinking about it or looking for it. So Im wondering if you have a negative thought(that relates to what your trying to attract), should you reframe that negative thought into a positive one? IT seems otherwise you feel in a not good mood if you dont. |

Hi Refrusloi, I think you shouldn't worry to much about having a negative thought now and then because it's normal- trying to change every negative thought can end up making you worry all the more that it won't happen BECAUSE you won't change the negative thoughts. Give yourself a break and just allow yourself to have a negative thought about it now and then. There are a few stories out there, especially in promotional litertaure about someone being told about a way to mainifest something but they were completely skeptical at first but they tried it and it worked anyway! If you want a quick answer, one suggestion is to not ry to do anything to the negative thought, simply cultivate a positive one, meaning simply imagine (feel it) how good it will feel once you receive what you wanted. Do that as much as you can, even ramp it up when you can, you might not have to worry about changing negative thoughts everytime they pop into your head. Hope that that helps you out, good luck! |

Lost something I was trying to attract recently. You know, I always try to frame it into the context of I have everything I NEED: Good job, nice kitty cat, nice place, nice car, enough money to live. That's enough for me. What I need is time to establish me, without this thing. I have no doubt it'll fall in my lap when I need it. |

Hi, NotesMaeve, hope you get what you need. This topic has been a hobby and even a study of mine for a while now, so by now I have come across ALOT of manifesting techniques. I also tend to be generaly skeptical and scrutinize what I come across. If you'd like my opinion, what you mentioned about establishing yourself may be too vague to "manifest". In fact ideas like "I want to be happy", I want to make enough money", "I want the freedom to be me" are too vague for your brain to get a handle on - happy just isn't specific enough. What is "happy"? Just smiling, laughing for no reason? On the other hand, the intention " I am making $5,000 a month selling my paintings online from my website" is very specific, which of course allows you to be comfortable, which gives you free time, which makes you feel happy, which of course gives you time to establish yourself. So in that case you don't have to settle for things falling into your lap just when you need it, get it now! Don't be afraid to have an intention to attract what you want right now. I think one problem is that we all feel guilty asking for something to happen now or as soon as possible because it sounds selfish or demanding, but since we expect our cars to take us to x place in xx minutes flat why not? I found this out from the many different manifesting techniques I've been exposed to and found from experience that being specific with a specific time frame tend to work the best but only when you put the work in as well (regarding both the technique and the effort to get what you want to manifest). Hi Refrusloi, I would say that if you are aware of your thoughts enough to catch the negative ones, then you should definitely take a moment to reframe it. Sometimes, just a quick reversal of the thought pattern is enough. You may have to do it repeatedly. But, the brain must be retrained to think positively. If you find yourself thinking "I can't..." or "I don't know how to..." Just take a second to reverse it into "I can.." or "I know how to.." It's helped me a lot to work through my thoughts this way. But, I don't spend a lot of time dwelling on it after I reframe it. Just reframe & move on. Namaste |

Way to go... You can also set goals for a major manifestation for a few months away. And you can be very specific about the date: ' By Sept, 16th 2007 I am working as an IT'.....This gives you time to work on your visualizing or affirmation or whatever technique you are using to bring it about. Once again if certain types of manifestations are related to remote influencing certain people, then your thoughts will reach out to the right person who has the perfect job according to your description and will reach you by the specific date you set. By the way, what type of "technique" are you using to manifest this? There is a specific technique for this date setting technique, but continue what you are doing and let us know what happens all right? |
