Can anyone give examples of how LOA have worked for them? I'm interested in hearing about examples where there can be no doubt that The Law of Attraction is involved in some way. Please include the exact methods you used, and what you feel is important to make LOA work. Last edited by Jarleh; 06-25-2007 at 07:49 PM. |

I had a pretty dynamic experience, with some very practical results! Detailed in this thread: http://www.stevepavlina.com/forums/i...hlight=atheist |

It will be twenty five years next September 11th that I got romantically involved with what I feel to be the most beautiful, brilliant and intelligent girl in the world… At the time, I was making a decent living working four hours a day and my main interests were, in that order, karate and chasing girls… I had no ambition for the future and did not even care what the next day would bring… However when I met Danielle and fell head-over-heel in love… things changed drastically… Danielle is a sophisticated and spoiled princess and I knew that if I wanted to keep her… things had to change… I knew all about LoA… so I put it to work… in less than a year, Danielle and I moved in the most exclusive section of our town and we had all the toys and trappings that goes with it… in that time, I started to earn more in a month than I used to earn in a year… so, LoA does works… LoA does works, but it works best when it is surrounded with great passion and unbridled enthusiasm… if you can attain that state, nothing is impossible… you are king and the world is your oyster… However, I am a strong proponent of the theory that faith without work is dead… that there is no free lunch… and that you can manifest until the cows come home but if you don’t take massive action… nothing will come out of it… and that theory if shared by hundreds of my colleagues who have personally achieved tremendous success… many of which are earning well over one million dollars a year… Now, this is not BS… it is not something that could happen in the future… not something that I heard about or read in a book… it’s part of my life’s story… . |

Hi, Jarle, I have my own success stories about the LOA, but what really interested me about your question was the way that you phrased it: "I'm interested in hearing about examples where there can be no doubt that The Law of Attraction is involved in some way." Would you be interested in sharing your motivations behind asking? Are you doing some sort of a case study? I'd love to hear more about it. |

I subscribe to the theory that the LoA is incorrect and that a choice is made and it manifests. How long it takes and what is required for it to manifest are subject to perceptions of attainment. Until recently I've always believed and followed the LoA, but then I noticed things where manifesting without much thought and or emotion, I suppose the manifestation process could be labeled LoA or IM, but there seems to be something more fundamental going on beneath the surface. If this is true (I believe it is) then the LoA and IM are labels for a possibly non existant process. Maybe it could be called CM or choice manifests, the words intend and/or attract seem to imply doubt or delay. If you choose for something to be so, then it must be so. I once needed some money, so I mentally pictured $5000 in my account, I don't remember thinking about it much and/or emoting much and yet it manifested, so I started to consider maybe sharp focus, multiple thought and high emotion weren't even required. Still if it works for people and helps them, then it's all good Max |

The LoA is presented as a magnet. Likes attracts likes and so on. But lately I have started to question if there really are any powers at work besides our selves. One of the main statments in the LoA is that you must take action. Nothing will happen if you do not take action. I wonder if the LoA could be just a way to describe what you need to do. When you accomplish something great I am not sure if the LoA should be credited. It is after all you who made the accomplishment. I guess I'm starting to think about the LoA in a the same way that Max describes. I think it would be wrong not to question its existence. What do you think? | |

I think that taking action is always a part of the equation, yet I also think that people who want to disprove the Law of Attraction or discredit the movie 'The Secret' fail to see the fact that taking action IS part the LOA process. However, I do not believe that us as individuals are the only part of the equation. There are far too many synchronicities to rule out a "bigger picture". Yet, that being said, if the person pursuing success via the LOA is not paying attention, they will not see the opportunities that are put in front of them - opportunities that then require taking action in order to take advantage of them. For me, I won't take up space here to list my personal goals, but anyone interested can check them out at my blog. However, I can say that via the LOA I have attracted both the resources that have allowed me to pursue those goals, and I have also attracted - literally - more ideas for success than I could possibly accomplish in anything remotely resembling the near future. I have no doubt whatsoever that by the time I get done taking action on all of the concepts I have attracted that I will have at least the success that I envisioned, if not something even better. Then again, belief is part of the LOA equation. If you don't believe, it won't work. |
