I've been attracting a heck of a lot of opportunities related to music. From being a musical recluse for almost a decade to suddenly playing with a nascent indie/punk group, getting an offer to compose backing to a set of words for a nonprofit and (strangest of all) an opportunity to compose a piece for a small ensemble (kids in a nonprofit community band program)...and I mean "compose" as in "get a bunch of score sheets and draw black dots all over them like you used to do when you were 18 and pretending to be Frank Zappa." The person who asked hasn't heard a note of anything I've ever done. Heck, I've never heard a note of my "longhaired" dots-on-paper music performed by live human beings, for that matter. It's been a long time, but it's exciting. These things are just appearing out of nowhere through zero (or very nearly, in the case of the indie group) effort on my part, and are very aligned with who I intuitively feel I am and should be. Hmmm I think I manifested a phone charger. I was in New Orleans last week and by accident left my spare phone charger in the hotel room. I didn't think too much of it and when I got home I simply ordered another one on eBay. I think it cost $1.99 with free shipping. It arrived without incident a few days later. Today I was thinking that I should go ahead and order another one. The price was more than fair and it would be good idea to have an extra "spare". Anyway, tonight I got an e-mail from the seller saying they were sorry there was a mix-up with mailing my charger and that they had sent another one!  The question is, do I offer them the $2 or do I simply say thank you to The Universe?  |

I manifested a fully functioning high powered juicer today...which I'd been thinking about recently. I went to my accupuncturist to pick up some herbs she had made up for me, but she wasn't there. On the way there though I stopped in at this garage sale and spotted one for only $5...yes, that's right...$5! It works perfectly. She just hadn't used it in a while and they were moving house and wanted to get rid of a bunch of stuff so they could start afresh. I was so stoked. I've wanted one like this for aaaaaages. |

I decided to "test" my understanding of LOA and frankly I needed a sign or something that this was working. So driving to work yesterday I decided to manifest a white rabbit. I didn't specify if it was a live one, picture of one, reference to one, whatever. Just a white rabbit. I started seeing or noticing (how do I tell the difference?) lots of white cars on my way home. More than I would think would be normal. So I took this as my alpha sign. White cars everywhere and there is a Volkswagen car called a rabbit. Today, I am messing around on FB. I click on a Cracked.com article. 8 Terrifying Skeletons of Adorable Animals | Cracked.com Check out the third animal down. I literally screamed Holy crap! There is my white rabbit! I am floored and frankly feel a bit weird. |
