Won two tickets to Julius Ceaser.

There's other forms of abundance flowing to my life, like discounts or sales, free stuff, finding stuff and money, getting the opportunities that pay more than my regular job, etc.

Default Oprah Winfrey

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I saw this forum and wanted to share my recent experience (still in the making). I have had the amazing opportunity to be part of an Oprah Winfrey segment that involves women who have lost their passion at work. My first experience that I've actually associated with Intentions and Manifestations. I posted a short story on my blog, Lessons Of Life if anyone is interested.

I recently manifested a number of job opportunities that centered around my skills and were also things I thought I wanted to do.

One of them was taking my abilities as a tutor and putting them to a use that resulted in a livable paycheck, rather than minimum wage.

The other was an offer to help start a non-profit organization that focused on motivating youth. I was offered payment for individual jobs acting as a guru on technical aspects of the organization, and was also offered a long-term position if it got off the ground. (obviously, such a sudden turn of events leaves me suspicious of whether it is really likely to be truthful, but regardless it is something I have looked for).

The moral of the story is that, like love, when you think about what you want and then let go of the desire, you often will find that same thing right at your feet, waiting to be enjoyed.

For the past week I have held the intention "I intend to perform in a lead role". Though most of my performing experience is in Musical Theatre, I have noticed oddly that my skin is clearer and I am more photogenic - perfect for film!

^ It's the coolest when other people comment on things that you've intended. I intended to become funnier (I'm a pretty funny guy, in general) and other people started saying I was funny. They used to laugh and stuff and still do, they just started SAYING it. So watch out for that.

I've been thinking a lot about my fav series for the last couple of weeks, last Friday on my regular shopping tour I suddenly got the whole 1st season on DVD for a quarter of its original price.
Believe me, I've never seen that happen with any other series this popular and still running, I could hardly believe my eyes and totally freaked out with joy.
Then same shopping tour the very next stop, in the check out line before me stands a guy who looks exactly like a guy from the very same series.
Simply too cool.

Default the lottery

i read the book the secret and decided to put what i learned into practice. i manifested wining the lottery and i did. i won three times within 2 months whereas previously i had not won anything at all. so i feverently believe that intention/manifestation/visualisation does work.

however it is important to add that on those three occasions, i only won £10. i am not put off by this though and feel sure that i did make a connection with the universe. i believe that through practice and with working on phraseology etc i will win larger amounts.

Yesterday I was feeling really uninspired so I began to write a list of 100 things I'm grateful for.

I got to number 71 where I wrote "I am grateful for the creative and well paid job opportunities that come to the studio".

A second later my inbox beeped and there was an email from our Agency overseas with a new job opportunity

Default An invite for a trip

I have been doing some family research on the net over the last couple of days and today decided to look at the website for the town my Grandparents lived in when they were alive. A couple of Aunts still live there, I decided that I'd ask my parents if I could come next time they were to visit.

This afternoon I went to my parent's place and my father asked me if I wanted to go with them to visit my Aunts. It's been 16 years since last I went. They are leaving tomorrow and will be back on Friday. Would have been perfect but I can't warrant going so close to Christmas when I have so much to do.

I keep meaning to post this-- it's funny, and a GREAT example of LOA in action.

My friend is getting a divorce, and was really depressed. I was in her city on a business trip, and took her to dinner, and then we started laughing about this comedian we both really like whose special had recently been on TV. Suddenly we both said "We should go get one of his DVDs....that would be so fun!" We walked along, quoting some of our favorite lines and laughing. Alas, the bookstore where we were planning to get the DVD was already closed, so we went to head back to my hotel, figuring we'd just watch something else, or have some wine and talk about more funny stuff.

Five minutes later, a woman pulled over to the side of the street where we were walking, asking for directions.

"Do you know where Grove Street is?" she said. "I just heard on the radio that there's a special midnight show at a comedy club there."

I'm sure you've guessed by now....my jaw dropped open when she said the name of the person doing the special show. It was THE SAME COMEDIAN we had just been laughing about ten minutes before, doing a show at a club we didn't even know existed. We went to the show, got great seats, and ended up staying there watching him work out brand new material until 3:00 in the morning.

Crazy, right?

Hi everyone...

Earlier this year, I deliberately applied the law of attraction to manifest 2 major goals (and quite a few other goals as well).

It was a very conscious application on my part... and both goals began to manifest within a couple of weeks of me becoming very clear about what I wanted.

Something I know put me in a much higher vibration... was my awareness of being grateful for things. Since the beginning of February I have kept a gratitude Journal and I religiously write in it every morning! I know this really helped me... as well as consciously focusing on my goals.

Focusing on the goals allowed me to become more aware of opportunities to help me achieve the goals. The first goal, getting my book published, was manifested within three weeks of it being set. The second goal, developing my own website manifested within two months -- and that included me learning how to do it!

So definitely... it works and it works so much easier and quicker when you plug into the concepts in a very conscious and deliberate way.

Jeanne

Default A tape measure

At a couple Christmas outings lately when we've pulled bon-bons I kept getting nail clippers as the prize - which is funny because 2 days before I had needed one while out, ended up buying them. Back to the bon-bons, one of the other prizes was a tiny retractable tape measure, I really wanted one of those.

I was out today, needed to work out the size of something in inches (used to decimal), thought to myself that I really needed a tape measue in my bag.

Got home and found a newsletter from a local firm in my letterbox, with it was a retractable tape measure - much better than the prize one.

All right. As some of you might know, I'm still a newbie to the whole LoA-thing, and haven't quite figured it totally out yet. But I think it might have worked for me recently. It was another one of those "coincidences" that were so unlikely that it appears to good to be true. Thinking about it, those "coincidences" have happened to me so many times before, that it actually makes me believe even more that it all could be explained simply by the Law of Attraction.

What happened first:

I slipped down the stairs where I live. I was just coming in from outside, and my shoes were wet. While taking the first or second step down the stairs, I slipped, and lost all control. My legs dissappeared and I landed violently on my butt. Kept falling down, turned around in an attempt to gain control over the situation, only to additionaly hurt and scratch up my knees aswell.

My cellphone somehow got crushed under this fall, and the display was unreadable. So I thought: "Damn, now I have to spend money on a new cellphone right before Christmas", when expenses were high as it was.

In the meantime I got to borrow a neighbour's old phone.

What happened next:

2 days later I get a call. Another one of those annoying telephone-sellers. But to my surprise, first thing she asks: "Hi Sindre. Do you need a new cellphone?" And I was like: ".... ?!....YEAH!!!!"

This woman were trying to sell me a cellphone for a cheap price, in exchange for a 12 months binding subscription to the company she worked for.

Normally I would just hang up, but for once, this call "came from the Universe" exactly in the right time. I'm almost tempted to believe that the Universe noticed that I had broken my cellphone, and kindly brought me a new one. I saw the opportunity in this, and took it.

She even promised I would receive it before Christmas, which was great, because I'm going away. And as promised, my new cellphone now lies here, right next to the keyboard!

Only thing I don't get, is that I wasn't thinking about or hoping for to get a new cellphone this quickly. The Universe seemed to be extra kind to me, for some reason..

Well it was my birthday today and my friend got me some really nice gifts. I wasn't expecting much but what he gave me was really cool and geared to my personality. I had been thinking of polar bears recently and there were polar bear stickers on the wrapping paper. So, thinking of all this abundance and the good vibes, I go outside and on the street there's a nice $20 bill just sitting there waiting for me.

I have conditioned myself to find coins on the street, $20 is a big "coin" lol.

Happy belated birthday from me, too, cylon. Good to hear about that stuff.

Internet's been out at my place, so I haven't been able to log on here much, which has turned out to be a blessing in disguise because not having this addictions given me a chance to step back and do a review for my past year and figure out what I want to do next year.

I found a dollar coin last friday, as well as two pennies. First time I've found anything bigger than a dime, which was cool.

Also just won a fitness dvd from Subway's Greatest Contest Ever Contest, which is a few weeks after my other win of tickets to see Julius Ceaser.

Awesome fun.

My $20 could have something to do the with the Abraham-Hicks exercise of carrying around a $100 bill in your wallet. On the day I read that exercise I thought I'd go to the bank and withdraw a bill, but I got my bonus that day so didn't have to. So whenever I open up my wallet, I just look at it, touch it for a second, then spend with the other money. Does anyone here use this exercise?

They repeat many of the exercises in their books. Ask and it is Given is the most popular, though the Law of Attraction is a little more to the point.
