| The irony of 'The Secret' is, it has never really been a secret! I'm 33 now and have been reading metaphysical, new age, philisophical, theosophy books since I could read. The most common topic, I'd say between 80-90% of the books that were published in the above mentioned categories, had at least mentioned the principles of the 'Law of Attraction'. For instance, I read a book when I was 9 by the author John Randolph Price called 'The Superbeings' which has a more Christian twist, but uses the LOA concept throughout its pages. Another author, Shakti Gawain, has been expounding the fruits of 'Creative Visualization' for decades. The movie 'The Secret' is nothing but a repackaging of old truths, in my opinion, and yes perhaps it is just an attempt to cash in on human tendancy to gravitate towards the 'quick fix' gurus of our culture. One more observation, has any body seen the movie 'What the Bleep'? It seems to me that 'The Secret' was a week attempt to emulate that movie, on an even lower budget and even using some of the same 'experts' for its testamonials. |

| OF course its not a secret. but to 99% of the population, is still IS! The learned people know this instinctively (I am NOT one of those people, I had to learn it like the rest of us plebians

I've allways been drawn to subjects that were either on the fringe or well beyond the fringe of societal acceptance. I began having spontaneous astral projections at the onset of pueberty and that fueled my desire to learn as much as I could about spirituality and metaphysics. This unfortunately made me 'weird' in the eyes of my peers, so this side of my personality eventually got squelched and now that I'm well into my adulthood, I want that feeling of excitement, adventure and beauty that I used to experience when I was young and full of life and optimism. |

| Some people ARE born knowing this, I have no problem saying that. Let me tell you about the Tree of Knowledge, when God said to Adam and Eve do not eat from that tree, he was saying, "Do not learn" When the serpant tempted Eve, he was saying Knowledge is Good, take it. When Eve learned, and Adam learned, they where banished by God, because God had lost his control, and like a child, he got angry. Pfft don't listen to religion, don't listen to anyone. You and YOU alone can find the truth. As Morpheus said, I can only show you the door, you have to walk through it.

| Even people who have stumbled upon the movie or the book "The Secret" still don't get it. They are still at the "think happy thoughts and you will become a millionaire" stage. Even most people who have watched the movie haven't taken the time to study more about the LoA, so this will continue being a "secret" of sorts for a very long time.
