Hey everyone, I know there are other threads on the forum talking about the closing but since steve said he is shutting it down sometime between christmas and new years. I asked him if he could please be more specific and he said he is shutting down the forum on the morning of dec 26th - so now is definetly the time to wrap things up. I am very depressed over the closing of this forum. I have checked out the other forums and I am just not feeling the energy of the other forums right now. There was just something about this forum that really reasonated with me. I enjoyed starting all the new threads and talking with all of you but I guess it is time for all of us to move on. I do have some parting thoughts I would like to share with everyone Please remember to really monitor your thoughts now more than ever. Since we are moving into even more intense manifesting energies next year - your thoughts are going to have even more power than ever before for manifesting your hearts desires. I am sure a lot of you have been seeing 1:11 and 11:11 on clocks, license plates, etc. This is a sign from your angels to monitor your thoughts and only focus on the things you want to see manifested in your life. Also, if any of you are confused as to what your life purpose is or what to manifest - I would highly recommend this card deck from doreen virtue called "Life purpose" Amazon.com: Life Purpose Oracle Cards (9781401924751): Doreen Virtue: Books Also, awhile back I did start a thread about affirming the divine plan for your life if you are lost or confused about what to do about your life and here is the link Are you lost or confused about where your life is going? I guess this is my last and final thread I will ever start on this forum Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you! Last edited by mallie; 12-24-2011 at 10:20 PM. |

And I believe the same thing will happen for you, and everyone else here--I sincerely hope so, anyway. Right now, this looks like an ending. But it's really a beginning, for every one of us. We might not be able to see what it's the beginning of just yet, and for each of us it's the beginning of something different. But I think that in a year or so many of us are going to look back and realize that the closing of PDSP was actually a good and necessary thing for our individual development, even if we couldn't see it at the time. On top of that, while I have loved this forum over the years, and got so much out of it, I've occasionally ended up incredibly frustrated with it and needed to take a break. Within the last week or so, I decided it was high time for another break. Then...KABOOM! Yeah, I've definitely manifested a break from this place! So it's time to move on. I'll miss this place (it's a tough habit to break!), but I'm looking forward to what comes next. "Everything just keeps getting better" is an affirmation I use a lot, and it's true. So I'm just going to keep that in mind. Quote:

It would be good to write down the links that I and others have posted before Steve pulls the plug . Many members are already on other forums . Think of it like moving form jonesville , to smith town , you did not want to leave jonesvill , but there are nice people already in smithtown . Close to the bottom of this thread is a list of 4-5 sites where most members have gone A list of other forums desert rat

Thanks desert rat for all those helpful links! To make it easier for everyone I have copied those links you were referring to and here they are Here is where most of the other members are going to Halfway - Index halfpast - Index Spiritualteachers.org Discussion Boards - General Spiritual Discussion Astral Dynamics Down-Under Community PD For You desert rat Here is the one I am most interested in as it seems to have more discussion categories devoted to angels, signs, oracle cards, etc and these are all things I am into Spiritual Forums - Spirituality, Metaphysical, Paranormal and Religious Discussion Forums Plus the whole website is set up like steves was in regards to your private message box being on the far right corner and your editing options etc are all the same and there seem to be a ton of members. Also, if you have been following angelpsychics mbo thread and angel threads - he is going to the PD for you and also the link up above I just mentioned (the spiritual forum). I am so delighted to have met angelpsychic on the forum and learning about mbo's from his thread has been the biggest help in my life. I also learned so much about angels from him and he is the reason I started buying oracle cards - which in turn have pulled me out of my depression and given me hope for my future - so I would like to thank him immensely for being such a big influence in my life. Also, I did not know this but the PD for you is a private forum - unlike steves forum where you could have thousands of guests looking at your threads. I am a writer, speaker and teacher and speaking to the masses is very appealing to me and that is what I loved about steves forum is that I was speaking to thousands of people and reaching more people. The other thing I liked is that there was a huge amount of freedom. Steve was very generous in allowing people to post links to other websites, sources, things to buy, etc and most of the other forums either frown on that or limit what you can say. Those are forums I will definetly be staying away from. Case in point, I noticed balbrae had posted some of his affirmation recordings in the merlin forum and kinda got chewed out for doing it. This never happened on this forum - so I need lots of freedom when it comes to forums. I mean on this forum you could discuss masturbation - lol and not have anyone want to delete your thread. Darn, I should have started a thread on masturbation - lol - oh well - I will do it at my next forum - lol! Last edited by mallie; 12-25-2011 at 12:32 AM. |

Mallie.. I agree with you. There is something special about this Forum and the greatness of the motives which bring People here....And the Greatness of Members, of course... So in light of that.. I still hope that one or a group of (ex) Members will put up another Forum anew trying to recreate the same spirit .. I would like that and would like to be informed about it, please. I'm sure most will feel the same. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas all. ID:esoteric53 email: burtie57@gmail.com. |

I'm opting out of the forum lists - I've always been one to 'fly blind' when looking for a new one, part of my nature I guess. I'm sure if one of my buds really falls in love with one they'll let me know via FB anyway... Or maybe I'll discover that I no longer have a need for regular 'forumming' after all I've been meaning to take Scheinfeld's spot for a test drive, got my foot in the door but never got around to walking through... |

In the biggest irony of fate, I found THIS forum while searching for an alternative to Halfway. In the two yers since, things evolved that I was able to take over the sister-site, Halfpast, and turn it into a viable metphysical/spiritual home. In the meantime, Halfway finally nose-dived due to abuses from the handful of members determined to ruin it. The Administrator a few months ago stated that he was no longer interested in the site, and I thought of this when the annoucement was made to discontinue Pavlina's forums. I amiably obtained the rights to Halfway, and it will now enjoy a new life. I could not have expected such a miracle a mere 3 months ago. I offer again that anyone is welcome there, if only as a temporary base. My intention is to get the site cleaned up, and essentially let the members run it with their own moderation. Halfway - Index As some of you know, my mother passed away this year. Long story short, my inheritance was surprisingly much larger than any of us had expected. I am not one to wear "bling" or drive fancy cars, so I resolved to spend my days...and that money...on humanity. This is what paid for the site, in perpetuity. (my father's estate is another subject, but should be resolved in January). Many blessings to all. I will try to leave the public-access threads open (on both of my sites) and available, but spammers could ruin that kindness. Roy Last edited by royster; 12-25-2011 at 10:40 PM. |

I rarely visit this place, so it might go and that'll make no difference to me, but it is a popular site and there are many who care. I don't think the site should close. The backdoor operators who feigned honesty while acting in a secretive underhand way have simply revealed they are not to be trusted. Desertrat, behaves as though he is helping to offer other resourses, but clearly, using this site (and the current situation) for spamming other forums is a pretty low act, however, how would one who lacks integrity even understand that. You do a good job Steve Pavlina... and the admin crew... so please consider continuing your valuable service. |

I also appreciate your comment regarding my writing. It has been awhile since my last book was written and thanks to this forum, it has given me a great outlet to not only express myself, but to also help others thru my journey of manifesting my hearts desires. I also looked forward to seeing the answers and insight that others on this forum provided. There are truly a lot of wonderful, enlightened souls in this forum who have a lot of great ideas, wisdom and insight to share with everyone. I will truly miss this one of a kind forum! It is really too bad that steve is not reconsidering his decision to keep this forum open. It is really a shame that a few bad apples had to spoil it for others and cause steve to turn sour on the whole forum. You know Jesus would have kept this forum. open! haha - lol! Hopefully, steve will reconsider. Last edited by mallie; 12-26-2011 at 07:13 AM. | ||

The time has come, the hour is near and I am disappointed although I expect that something better and more fitting will take this place. Goodbye for now. See some of you again in another place. Mallie thank you for the focus on intention for the new year. It is a worthy reminder. |
