Intention & Manifestation: A thought hit me last night. Follow me here for a second. In the bible, it says that God states, "Ask and you shall receive." "Believe and you shall receive." Now I'm not getting religious here but there are many who believe that the bible spoke in metaphors and spoke literal and non literal at the same time. Many others also say that as our society continues to develop; we will grow to understand things that were taught to us by God long ago but will not realize that we are now understanding. Wouldn't it make since that God was explaining Manifestation and LOA centuries ago and we are just now fully understanding how it truly works? Religions teach us to ask of God but yet after we ask of him, we continue to think about our debt, think about why that house is so out of our league, continue brooding over past downfalls and then at bed time, kneel and ask God and say to him, "You say, Ask and ye shall receive well, why am I not receiving?" Could it be we have figured out what God truly meant? I think so. There's been multitudes of discussions about how much we as humans are evolving, opening up and learning. I just find it interesting that this "new" theory is not new at all. It was proposed to the first humans who ever walked the earth........ (of course thats all speculation and written) but you get what I am saying. -- And for the sake of answering an argument that would sure come; Since we don't know that it was spoken to the first humans, we do know that the thought and theory was at least presented when the pages of the bible were written. |

Another quote along these lines from the bible is "You reap what you sow". Same idea.
