LoA and talking about your progress
While you are in the process of manifesting something, then you have been getting smaller manifestations on the way to a big manifestation, which is the end goal, would LoA stop working for you if you start talking about the smaller manifestations with others?
For a long time, I have observed that peril attaches to talking about goals and accomplishments. If, in doing so, one is filling a nervous "chatter-void," or to brag, due to a lack of faith in the materialization of the intended manifestation, then that would color or change one's dominant mental vibration, and, hence, doing so would thwart the original, intended manifestation. However, if talking about the minor victories en route to scoring a major manifestation is done with a sense of sharing, intention to inspire others, fun, adventure, playfulness, confidence, and empowerment, then I would say that talking about the small victories does not thwart the larger manifestation, but actually fosters its speedy arrival.
Incidentally, there is a whole, separate problem encountered when one talks about one's smaller manifestations en route to manifesting the larger ones: one is sure to encounter hidden envy and jealousy by others. I believe that envy and jealousy are among the most common emotions encountered from others, when one displays excellence in one form or another. There is a very smart line from a 1970s song, Smiling Faces, that says "Beware of the pat on the back...It just might hold you back...Jealousy (jealousy)...Misery (misery)...Envy I tell you, you can't see behind smiling faces...Smiling faces sometimes they don't tell the truth."
So, it may be well to keep one's victories private, if such envy and jealousy could stir up distractions and hostile emotions, hidden by others. However, if one chooses good company, then one should not encounter the envy of others. Right? :)
It's simple, really. Don't brag. Not about what you've achieved nor what you intend (!) to do.
When you let flow in that you came from having to 'work' on yourself to get your "cake", people are not as likely to become envious... If you just 'waffle' about how things just "came to you", it can be a turn-off. Also, in most of these cases then, it's your ego showing off rather than your true inner Self that has connected with something bigger than yourself - if you like, you're just the physical channel through which your manifestation came about on the physical plane.
The other thing is - don't ever (!) talk about your future intentions. (If somebody asks you - just be vague...don't go into details - especially if it's something that is very important to you, it's even more crucial to keep mum). Talking about even your past 'achievements' in the 'wrong' fashion can become a stumbling block because it can turn into a 'competition' with yourself of having to do even "better" with your next intention - and you're creating negative pressure that can undo your attempts because you expect too much of yourself.
It's better to keep a 'low' profile (or tune it down accordingly) for the simple reason that one needs to build up momentum and it is 'disturbed' if you "expose" your intention - not just by you weakening it by talking about it (even when you're not doing it 'physically'), but also, again, because people will make you doubt your own goals and tell you (again, envy or pure ridicule, or for the heck of it to rile you up) that you're off your trolley, you're completely unrealistic - whatever - take your pick.
Where there is no 'magic' (i.e., mystery), energy cannot positively be infused with your mental and emotional imprint and has no real chance to gain the energy to 'break' through the 3rd dimensional, heavy (like molasses) physical block to 'birth' it on the physical into your reality. Or, it may take three times longer or not be as you imagine or would like it to be.
There is power in silence.
If you manifest something small towards your ultimate outcome, and you share it with someone, a few things can happen:
(1) They say something that influences your positively, where their encouragement makes you feel even better and helps you to manifest what you ultimately want quicker.
(2) They say something that influences you negatively, where their negativity makes you feel like crap and slows down or completely squashes your ability to manifest what you want because they pull you out of the vibration you were in previously when manifesting the "small" thing on the path towards the "big thing".
(3) They say something negative and you don't allow yourself to be influenced by them.
#1 helps you manifest quicker. #2 can slow you down. #3 has no effect.
No amount of jealousy, negative thoughts or "counter intention" from someone else affects your manifestations. The only time people can trip you up is if they influence YOU to change your intentions!
Think of Muhammad Ali. Remember all the smack talk he would do before fights? None of that smack talk had any effect on the outcome of the fights or on his opponents until his opponents ALLOWED themselves to be influenced by it.
He would say stuff like "I'm so fast, when I enter my bedroom, I flick the light-switch and I'm in bed before the lights go out."
That statement in and of itself doesn't influence the opponents ability to win. However, when the opponent hears it and VISUALIZES it for just even one second in his mind, he pictures Ali being super-human fast. Faster than the speed of light. And when he visualizes that, it DOES influence his manifestations.
So, in short, you should be REALLY careful who you share your intentions with as a lot of people can trip you up since most of us are surrounded by negative/skeptical people. There is no problem sharing your intentions with positive/encouraging people and in fact that can be a way to accelerate your results as well.
That is why it's so important to get around successful people.
Me personally learned to be careful with whom I share my biggest goals and my progress in between..
As ImPaul said ..your biggest enemy is the negativity and envy of others..On some occasions I was able to blog it out and still reach all my goals, on some occasions the negativity was even the last ignition I needed just to proof them wrong, and I even succeeded my own expectations and on other occasions I wasn't and it took me a long time to reach my goals..
Nowadays I reached most of my back then long term goals and the few which are left, I do not talk about, at least not in a way anyone who knows me would know that it is a goal and not reality yet but they take it as a fact
The reason I asked this question was if I was working on a manifestation, then I posted an intention on this forum, maybe I would get attached to the goal because I have to prove it to you guys that the intention would manifest.
What do you guys think?
