The great thing about cleanliness: you are looking at the present. For example, compare two coffee tables by your TV: (1) one is filled with soda cans, a bag of potato chips, a couple of empty glasses, and, of course, ring-marks on the table from the glasses; and (2) the other is completely immaculate, clear and clean of any debris whatsoever.
In the first situation, you are looking at the "past" because that is when the accumulated waste was deposited there. In the second situation, there are no reminders of the past, only the immaculateness of the ever-present now. Behold cleanliness is
indeed next to godliness!
I support your intentions!
