Default Weight Loss LoA

I used to be VERY heavy and I lost about half of my size and reached my goal weight..
Then a few trips abroad, I gained a bit of weight back (not nearly as much as I lost though) and while I've managed to go back on my diet and I went to the gym a lot, I've been yo-yoing since.
Last month I was realllly depressed and gained a little more weight and now when I'm finally back to my old self my university is keeping me extra busy plus I'm working so I don't have as much time as before to go to the gym and I find it hard to lose the weight.

I feel I need a boost to help me out. I still do what I can considering the time on my hands but I wonder which tips would you give for weight loss LoA? As a newbie to LoA generally (I have seen and read things but never truly tried!) I think it's time I give it a go.

This is a common phenomenon amount people who try to lose weight. The key is in making an internal shift in consciousness. Think of it like this: your subconscious mind is set like a thermostat to keep you at a certain weight range. When you go too low, your subconscious mind will do whatever it takes to keep you back where you were. If you go too high, it will also do the same to bring it back down.

The key is to influence your subconscious mind to do your bidding, that way you can lose weight without really struggling.

I lost 30 pounds in roughly 5-6 months without really trying. Part of it was the diet I was on (Paleo diet), but it was fairly easy for me because I had the right mindset to be at my desired weight.

During that time, I never worked out. My weight has remained the same for the past 4 months without any problems. I don't even think about it.

My best friend also lost over 120 pounds in 18 months, and it has everything to do with the right mindset.

So how does one do this?

Here's what you can do: Choose a number that's 10 pounds less than what you currently weigh. If you weight 120 pounds and you'd like to be 100, first start with an intention to weight 110 pounds, and when you're at 110 pounds, go down to 100.

Then literally start saying to yourself, "110 pounds" throughout your day. this is not an affirmation, since it's not a sentence, and therefore not a statement. Affirmations typically stir up resistance, but this won't. The idea is to constantly flood your mind with the thought of "110 pounds".

More importantly, say this to yourself everyday before you go to sleep and as soon as you wake up. This is the most critical time to do it.

If you do this everyday, sooner or later, your subconscious mind will get the message and you will automatically lose weight. Some of your eating habits may change, or cravings may lessen. I don't know exactly what will happen, but this will cause a gradual shift. Within 3-4 weeks you'll notice a difference. This is a long term approach to weight loss.

It's also important that you avoid talking about your weight negatively to anyone. My life is evidence that weight loss is easy. And I never even tried to lose weight. It just happened gradually over time as if nothing special happened.

Wonderful

BTW when you use, "110 pounds" (or whatever number you use), make sure you also say it when you have a negative thought about your weight. This is a way to interrupt the negative thought pattern.

If you do this enough, your negative thoughts about weight will diminish and weighing 110 pounds will literally feel more possible. I suspect you will notice a shift in attitude in a few days (but the weight loss may come later).
