"Law of Attraction" = Denial ? Isn't a part of what we call Law of Attraction kind of like Denial? I mean like when we feel abundant when we're actually not, or when I feel grateful for something before I have it...isn't that denial? I think what I mean to ask is that is to be in denial of your current reality is how the LOA works? |
As Bashar says `circumstances dont matter, only state of being matters` thats says it all to me Debo |
Modern conventional LOA is about denial. Modern LOA to me seems very much about denial. Why? Because according to LOA you can only attract and not repel. If according to theory one can only focus on something and attract it, then wouldn't that mean that we could not repel an undesirable? Which I believe we can. Perhaps by being specific and articulating the undesireable one defines what they choose to repel. In my mind LOA is missing this component. Otherwise LOA would not be about denile? |

Great question. The LoA isn't denial--it's just a law. However, intentional-manifestation is a form of healthy, constructive denial, whereby one denies focusing on things that one does not wish to manifest. However, denial is not an overt act, but just the result of focusing on something else--something else that you want. This is true because if you spend your focus on trying to deny something, you will just attract it, as it becomes your dominant mental vibration. Just remember: denial (of peripheral distractions and thoughts that do not serve your higher good) is your friend, when it results in your powerful focus on your intended manifestation. :) |

Let's suppose that you are now overseas somewhere but that this Christmas you'll be flying back home to meet your loved ones. The plan is to have a great Christmas dinner together and you are really looking forward to seeing all your dearest relatives. You feel happy and excited at the thought of this family get-together. Is this denial? I mean - your current reality is that it's not yet Christmas and you aren't with your loved ones. -------- You will argue that the difference is that you will certainly be flying home this Christmas and you already have your plane ticket booked and you will certainly be seeing your loved ones and certainly be having dinner with them. Therefore this isn't denial. Whereas if you were manifesting for some other intention "X", you really don't know whether it will happen or not, and therefore to feel as if it would definitely happen or has already happened is a kind of denial. However the key difference between X and the Christmas family gathering is just that you have a very strong belief that the Christmas family gathering but you have a very weak belief that X will happen. If you had a strong belief that X would happen, it would be completely natural for you to feel excited or pleased or satisfied or joyful that X has come or will soon arrive. |
Maybe it is denial. From what I can see, the denial somehow becomes reality in a way. |

It really does boil down to belief in the process. Once you experience results and see the correlation between the imagined and the real this question goes away. |
I used to take it to that level of being completely ignorant to what my senses were telling me. I've found that just simply focusing on what you desire will put me in line with circumstances where I can reach my goals. It's like a door being opened for you, you just have to walk through. Sometimes it takes guts, but it's there for you. |
You may call it denial of reality but I look at it as leading the external reality with internal or mental reality. If you want to change the status and trend of events in your life, you need to lead with your imagination of the desired reality instead of following and reacting to the current reality. |
What if instead of denying one's fears one focused on them instead? I've observed that many fears are illusionary in nature. I would have never found that out if I didn't focus on them and face them. I would like to know what it is to live without fear. I'm liking this approach anyway. |
If a tree falls down in the forest and there's noone there to hear it, is that denial? |
I don't think questions in my mind about the LOA go away without fully experiencing them. Maybe they diminish over time but they are still there. Its like a vortex or like a black hole. Easy to get into. While I'm in, everything and everyone outside have faded away. Hours have gone by un-noticed whereas outside, days have gone by un-noticed. If I can get that sucked into something that’s how I want telementating to be. Speaking metaphorically.. ... |

It's not that you are denying your current reality, it's a way of deliberately creating what you want in spite of circumstances. Consider this statement: "It’s sort of like a mantra. You know, you repeat it to yourself every day: music is my life, music is my life, the fame is inside of me, I’m going to make a number one record, with number one hits. And it’s not yet; it’s a lie. You’re saying a lie over and over and over again. And then one day, the lie is true." - Lady GagaIn other words, when you repeat affirmations, then eventually work. But make sure the affirmations you use are more believable if you use them. |

Others ...Mohamed Ali is great(and funny ) to some your oponents) , charlie sheen(a bit crazy) , Will smith... |
