Money Question
 

I had another question about manifesting more money in my life. I've listened to some Abraham Hicks stuff and something she said really caught my attention. She said that when we visualize or desire more money we're doing it wrong and we're relating to money as energy, when in fact it isn't (something along those lines) do you all agree? Is it best to visualize the situation of getting the money, or the things you want to buy with the money or all of it together? I must admit I tend to visualize money sometimes and if it's not energy that we can attract then..? :confused:

This is a good question. From what I learned before, everything is energy so that would include money. I have also heard it being described as a tool or as an idea. I think the most important thing is to feel abundance and excitement about life, and that will attract the abundance you want, including more money.

well, you can use either. I knew I wanted a new car and just had the intention of a new car but then, I knew I didn't have the money at that particular time to manifest it so I didn't focus on money in this. My old car broke down and I was forced to purchase a nice car which needed work doing on it. I managed to pay for the car and then I was involved in a minor accident where my car is now going to have the work done on it. I will soon have the car I have always wanted. It came about in around about way and the money came second. So, what I am saying is if you focus on what you want the money will follow.

Another example is that I wanted to go to Poland. It was on my list of places I wanted to see and I just had a feeling it was going to happen in the next few years. I had no available money to go and just 'let it go' out of my mind. It just so happened I acquired a boyfriend who wanted to go and had just came into some money so he paid for us both to go over and enjoy the sights.

You have to be open to receiving what you want in many different ways. :):)

It looks crystal clear to me that if Abraham Hicks knew how to manifest money out of thin air she wouldn't have spent the last 25 years busy making a fortune out of selling CDs, books, DVD, workshops, cruises, etc.
She is just a motivational speaker cashing in on people's procrastination.

Not everybody wishes to make money out of thin air or that their lives should be all about money. People choose their life's work, some of them receive great financial rewards for what they do and some don't. Some people don't really care much about money, believe it or not.

Accept or not accept the concept and the teaching of Abraham, which should not be judged by the Hick's financial status or what their chosen work is. Most ultra rich people don't want to bother to teach people about making money, not the general public or anybody who wishes to learn anyway. We are lucky for some people who like to teach, who may or may not be super rich, but we choose according to the teaching and the message, with which we resonate or not.

Try not to over-complicate the process. Sounds like you are overthinking. ;)

The ONLY thing that matters, when it comes to manifestation is the non-contradicted or pure lining up of belief and desire. You perceive this relationship between belief and desire as emotion. When they sync up, you feel positive emotion, when they do not sync up you feel negative emotion. It is very simple.

Thought is attention, belief is attention, desire is intention.

It is just a matter of focusing your attention, in such a way, that it supports the belief in the reality you are wanting to experience. That's it. All else is subject to how it makes you feel. There is no universal answer to your question because of this. You have to listen to your heart at all times to the know the appropriateness or inappropriateness of what you are focusing on, or how you are focusing on it, and its relationship to what you are doing.

Be as general or as specific as you want as long as it feels good to do so.
