Default I Finally Manifested a Football Win!

It only took me six weeks to manifest a victory for the Washington Redskins. (It also took them that long to manifest one, too.)

Default How did you do it

I am so happy for your success.
Now let us tell the world how you did it.....?
What was your initial desire.
What stages did you use to bring your desire to fruition...?
Please do educate us.

It was really very simple. I watched them every week and said, "Win! Dangit!" Most of the time, I failed in my belief that they would win. And so they lost. Last week, my belief was nearly perfect, but it broke down in overtime, when they lost by a field goal. If only I could manifest that team's victory more consistently, I could manifest a lot of abundance in Vegas.

You gotta be kidding me. You think that you have power over the Redskins?

You would have more luck at picking the winners in football games if you developed your intuition, the LOA is good, but being an expert psychic is the way to go!

Here's my best tip, read the book "Practical Intuition" by Laura Day... great book and it will give you plenty of ideas, that could increase your financial statis!

This brings up some great points. If people believe in the law of attraction, where is the line between "me" and "you"?

Is this guy really claiming that they won because HE manifested it? Do they not have intentions of their own?

If this is true then that is quite scary, someone can just "manifest" you doing whatever you like as long as they believe...

Anyway, things like this is what makes me skeptical about the law of attraction vs just going with the flow and learning to stay peaceful and accept.

Ironic timing. I just posted a response to another thread along the same topical lines: How do you prevent things you don't want to happen? (at Response No. 11). To answer your question directly, no one's free will is violated. So no worries, mate!

Group manifestation (of a winning football team) could occur, according to the idea that all participants freely choose to merge their "alternate" realities, where each player and the fan in question observed a victory. I explain the general idea more in the following excerpt (taken from the thread linked in this response), regarding one manifesting a world where a loved one chose not to smoke or to quit smoking. This is a logical theory that holds up well.

Quote:

Now, tackling the second issue, as to whether one can create another's smoking cessation by affirmations, there is lively debate! From one perspective, doing so would "violate" another's free will and points of personal power, creativity, and responsibility.

However, another perspective disagrees, holding that we create all of our reality--including the people or illusions of people in our reality. Hence, from this metaphysical perspective, you would simply manifest or create the "alternate" reality in a different "dimension" with a different "version" of that person (your loved one) who used to smoke. In this regard, that person's "free will," "personal power," "creativity," and "responsiblity" have not been usurped or violated by you because, in that version or "probable self" of your loved one, he or she freely chose to stop smoking--you have just aligned your "new" reality with the "new" reality chosen by the probable self of your loved one who dropped smoking as a habit or never formed a smoking habit (depending on which alternate-version of your loved one you manifest).

This theory is not without some science-minded adherents. According to the "Many Worlds Theory" of quantum physics, there exists a reality for every probability not actualized by observation--which loosely translates into: there is exists a reality for every choice presented, but not selected (e.g., smoking v. not smoking)--separated by different "dimensions." Hence, there are alternate realities "out there," where your loved one chose not to smoke (ever), and also where, after choosing to smoke, your loved one quit smoking. In this regard, one is not really manifesting something for another, but for oneself; one is merely manifesting a different dimension where an alternative version of another person "shows up," by free will.

If you are interested in this discussion about the nature of personal reality, Seth (Jane Roberts) channeled a book by that title (The Nature of Personal Reality), and it is very provocative! Also of enormous fascination is Seth's book, The Individual and the Nature of Mass Events. In these books, Seth would say over and over and over again, "you form your own reality," and he said words to the effect, "each morning you walk out that door and you are literally in a new and different world--and I mean literally--but are none the wiser."

My experience is that staying peaceful and accepting bites you in the ass once you realize what you had been missing out by giving up control over your life experience. So I try to look at this another way:

God plays all the parts in his kingdom.

All things exist. They already exist in God. To manifest is simply to make visible, that is the literal meaning of the word. To manifest the victory of a team is to make that part of God visible to you, you do not "create" the victory, you observe it. You could observe the defeat, which also exists within God. You are the explorer of God's infinite mind, remembering aspects of his infinite dream as you live.

Oh, goodie, a chance to challenge someone to a LoA "duel"! See you December 11th!

Seriously, I won't claim to have any "power over the Patriots", but I like the fact that I became a fan of a hard-luck team back in '85, willing to settle for one championship in my lifetime but never given a reason to expect one, even enduring the St. Louis relocation scare, only to see my devotion eventually rewarded with an embarrassment of riches. I choose to think it's no accident Who's to say I didn't simply shift myself to an alternate reality with the best possible Patriots team? The first person to tell me about IM/LoA would, I believe, have said things worked this way...

This fits well with a book on lucid dreaming I've been re-reading, which speaks of our controlling our attention rather than the dream elements themselves, even using the analogy of a sailor, who can't control the ocean but instead chooses his course upon it.

We don't create our reality, some higher power - God, if you prefer - does it. All possibilities exist, our role is merely to choose which ones we observe.

So basically it's like "manifesting" one desire and another and another for all eternity. Always living your life making another thing "show" to you, running around in the mind of God....

It's not satisfying, you want something, then you want more, then you want more, if you let go, you'll feel calm and without the need to keep chasing another desire by trying to make it "Manifest"...
