| Regarding the LOA, and "abundance mindset", what is the effective mental attitude and practical approach to spending money, when one has no income, and bank account(s) are slowly dwindling? Continue spending money, trusting more will arrive somehow? (practicing abundance mentality) Cut costs by eating Ramen, and becoming as thrifty as possible? Becasuse, isn't it said that spending money contributes to the flow of money energy, and holding off on spending blocks it? |

I`m no expert I wish I was, but if your already saying your being frugal & watching every penny isnt that having a lack mentality? you are confirming to yourself the world is NOT abundant and we have to watch what we have because it will waste away. just a thought, I think its all about trust, I am still on my journey mind you, so forgive my ignorance debo |

Do what feels best. Spending money and looking at the your savings melting away certainly won't feel good while saving some money here and there and counting your blessings might be the the better choice for a while.

I've done both, and in my experience, there's no difference between the two. One leaves you broke faster, and the other doesn't. The universe never left me hanging for long, something always manifested, though I had some interesting experiences of being poor before it threw me a bone. The act of Creation is very different from the act of spending money. Focus your mind on Creation, and that's when things will happen much faster. Create interesting experiences using the funds you have. Create things that don't require money. Do your best to switch your mind away from scarcity and towards abundance. Unlock it from the number of dollars in your bank account. |

The abundance mindset is not simply spending money. Take your mind away from social attitudes and the ego of status seeking. My mom always used to tell me when I was young, "Rich people are rich because they are cheap." I took this to mean that they value even the littlest things. The smallest amount that they are scrapping together is still much to them. To someone with a modality of lack, they see it as silly. As if when you have much is to be apathetic to waste because they have excess to live like a hog. But to an abundant mindset, that little bit is just as valuable as the biggest set. All those little pennies add up and make them feel even more abundant. When we make choices we can often feel the feeling of loss. To choose 1 thing means we loose other options. Did we make the right choice? How does my choice make me appear to those around me? Find satification in the fact that we HAVE soo much variety to choose from, that choices can be made every moment. Live your life for your own happiness everyday rather than what you appear to be. You may find that there are thrifty things you enjoy doing, focus on them. | |

I have a friend brokering rich international trading where any one deal would bring $millions. But it has been so-near-yet-so-far while he worries constantly about bills and groceries. He calls me daily and I try to coach him with mind stuff without sounding crazy. Anyways, one day I asked him, if you are sure of a million dollars being yours in a month (as is the often likely scenario), would you care about having no money at all now until then? Does it matter if you lose your residence and have no food? Would you mind staying at a shelter for the homeless and eat at a soup kitchen for a month? If you know you will soon have access to your trust funds, or that the bank will release your $100K once the holding period is over on the cheque you've deposited, which you know is 100% good, do you still feel poor and worried about the few days before you get the money in your hot little hands? If you truly believe, with certainty, you will not feel lacking and worried. It does not mean you can or should go out to spend your last dollars, but just that you don't have to concern with running out. Believe me, I had run down to last five dollars without worries, refusing any means beneath my pride for the sum I needed for two months of basics, with keeping my phone and internet being of top prioty, even over food. I felt it was a game that the Universe would wait till the last minute to provide. And it did. It has also provided nice sums in completely unexpected ways which was why I felt it was a game between me and the Universe who would veto any way I could device. But I know it will provide. |
