Default Really need a new job (help)

Now I have wanted to get a new job for some time now and I did manifest it to happen but turned out my perfect job would have been working longer hours for less pay I cannot afford to do that right now, so i turned it down

Now I am in a position whereby I am getting more and more unhappy in my present job and if I dont get out soon Im scared i`l slip even lower down. So I have to get myself out of this present job ASAP, Ive done all the job searching and there is nothing available right now. Ideally i would love the freedom of having my own business but with being the only worker in the home I cannot afford to just pack in my job to attempt this, plus dont know where to start with it anyhow (I have asked on this forum a couple of times) to no avail.

So to have the luxury of a new job I need advice, has anyone successfully managed to manifest their perfect job, if so HOW?

Thanks for helping if you can?

Send your CV proactively to companies you’re interested in working with - whether they are hiring or not - shows initiative and most business will avoid the expense and hassle of advertising posts if they can help it.

What field are you in – any chance of working freelance?

Is there any way you can make your present job “work” even if it’s short term?
Can you change departments?
Is someone annoying you at work? If so bring their superior even if the person in question is above you.

Yes, I managed to manifest my perfect job twice.

First time was in 1998. I really wanted to get into IT. I wrote down six times in my journal "I have a job in IT that pays $45,000 a year" I also wrote down six things that I was grateful for. That was all I did. After a while, I just started feeling more and more certain that I would get a high paying ( at that time ) job that I wanted. Six weeks later, I did get a job in IT that started out paying $45K a year.

Now it did end up being a high stress job etc. but it was a start.

The second time was just two years ago. I didn't do any actual manifesting but just folllowed my intuition. I just graduated nursing school in Montana and couldn't find a job. I didn't get hired for the job I had expected to get and was devastated. I decided I wanted to leave the state and the first job I called to get information about I was hired over the phone! Everything just fell into my lap so easy. Although my friends and family were horrified that I was moving so far away to a place where I didn't know anybody for a job that was actually a lower position than what I qualified for, somehow I knew that everything would be OK and that I needed to go. I eventually ended up getting an actual nursing position in my new town and two months later, had three good jobs in an area with almost 10% unemployment.

As far as starting your own business. The internet is the new frontier. Little money upfront and you can put in as much or as little effort as you want. Why don't you look into starting some websites and get money from google ads? It won't happen right away - you have to put in some work initially for no return but there is little risk. Or you can try writing content articles for other people. If you are going to do this, I'd start soon. More and more unemployed or underemployed are doing this and it's getting more difficult to find clients. Look for info on writing at WHAM.com under their "writing from home" section.

Hope those help!

Appreciate the brilliant advice guys, I am able to stay in my job I'm not being bullied or anything, although I have to say one person who works with me has to be the worlds number one obnoxious person, and we have had numerous heated discussions until I purposely started sending loving thoughts, then she moved to another room in the same building but away from me.

The reason I need a new job is that we will be getting moved to a new building which is going to be a nightmare for me to travel to and from, it's actually the kick up the backside I need to get myself out of there.

Rawextasy I would love to start my own website business, I am a smoking cessation specialist with ten yrs experience but web and comp stuff goes way above my head, hence why I'm stuck with a great idea that is going nowhere.

I will send my cv to companies and hope to get feedback soon

I will try to manifest a knowledgeable person to come into my life to assist me with my business idea.

Thanks again

Debo

" I am a smoking cessation specialist with ten yrs experience" - that's perfect for setting up on your own!!! Low overheads, a personal service and a measureable claim to profossionalism.

Believe me the web is not what it used to be - loads of cheap, easy to use services out there, that could have you up and running before the day is out!!

See this site as an example of someone who is "getting there" Goddess of Hair

and this thread where I've given a bit of advice: Self hosting question

It's not at all as daunting as you may imagine

Best of luck!

Graeme

Abraham would say: don't try to find the right job, find a job and make it right.

Then it's time to move. One job can lead to another and another and another... and every time it can get better and better and better.

I agree Reefs

Its the kick up the backside i probably need right now, where it will lead to is the scary bit or exciting bit, depends which way i choose to look at it I suppose. There is a lot I would like to pursue and if money was no object that would be great.

I think what you really want is a satisfactory income but you turn it into a desperate need for a new job.

I am also an aussie and understand the job markets here, especially where I live up north.

Are you a phone counsellor? I'm wondering...could you apply to yourself what you teach smokers to do, but replace the appropriate phrases with 'job' instead?
