Hi all, I wonder how people keep track of what they're working on manifesting. Do you keep a list, or do you just remember what you're working on? I seem to get a little unfocused sometimes but want to maintain a consistent practice. Also, sometimes I don't always "feel" the same things every day to visualize, but also know that it's not always the best idea to keep fixating on something (ie keep looking for it in my reality to see if it's arrived...) Just curious how others organize their practice! |

Many ways to keep track of one's intended manifestation exist. MS Excel software would allow you to keep track of them in a spreadsheet format. I am partial to MS Access, and have been doing a lot of tracking there, affirmations, visualizations, and diary fields. However, probably the simplest way you could do it would be just to keep a diary--even one posted in a thread on this forum. I started one, way back when, but it was more of an after-the-fact diary of manifestations, than it was a tracking. (See an example thread, where I did this: Balbrae's Manifestation Log.) What would you want to track--just intended manifestations? Would you want to track daily action taken in the direction of your intended manifestations? Would you want pictures to inspire you? Would you want words of affirmations to stare at, on such a "tracking" page, to inspire you? What about audio affirmations to listen to, as well? My particular Vision Board in MS Access accomplishes all these tasks. I described it somewhat in the following thread, Post Nos. 1 and 5 (mainly Post No. 5): What's in Your Visualization Board/Scrap Book?. It is an evolving work in progress, but the details in how it was put together were generally described there. Please note, however, that the vision-board thread started on this forum is not my vision board, but simply carries pictures of that which is contained in my MS Access vision board. I tend to be very well versed in database design and programming, so if you have questions or feel stumped, I'm happy to help any way I can. Good luck! @ Reefs... Oh, that's a good reminder! @ Balbrae, I was thinking more in terms of my meditation. I get confused sometimes, or feel like there are some conflicting messages sometimes about letting it go or holding the thought/feeling of the thing, so I was trying to find out if people keep track of what they want to be visualizing because I feel like I forget a lot of the time. Does that make sense? But I feel like now I just want to say screw it! And just play when I visualize rather than trying to make it so hard and detailed and regimental, like I should visualize the house for 5 mins, then the bank account, etc. I suppose needing to visualize repeatedly is a form of looking for it/not finding it in your life... |

@ Balbrae, I like the idea of overwhelming the conflicts. I have gotten to a point where I can mostly (I still have my days) release the conflicts, so wouldn't say I'm really looking for them, but I do have a nervous tic still in place where I look for the "reasons." Gently, gently we accept and change, is how I look at it. @ Reefs, I would say I'm about halfway between being the doer and allowing. It's sort of a catch 22, where you're walking a thin line to get there. You can't force yourself to allow... But some effort is required otherwise you wouldn't get there. |
