what am I doing wrong?

Hello,

I met someone I really connected with a year ago. It was at a very strange time in my life. This person was very kind to me but it was strictly in a professional setting. I barely know anything about this person. I just had a very weird feeling I would end up with them.
I moved states due to work.

I recently returned to that city and ran into that person at a store. I had just been reading 'Ask and it is given' by abraham Hicks. I laughed at the chance meeting and thanked the universe for it.

However, I haven't seen this person since.
What am I doing wrong?
