 |  Am I manifesting bad luck?
Quick summary... -Gf of 4 years dumps me and then gets into a new relationship a week later. Says "it happened really fast" and that she wasn't cheating. -Lose my job -Bill collectors keep calling -Only job prospects that call are to sell life insurance cold-calling at 100% commission and.... -My only solace is my keyboard, my music...well today is the day that my $500.00 PC soundcard decides not to work no matter what I do and the only thing the the product company can tell me since my warranty is up, is to buy a new one. With what $$$??? So now I don't even have that... Is this just a string of bad luck? Is this karma?? I don't kill, steal, act like a douche, etc... So the question is, am I manifesting all of these things myself or am I just analzying things too deeply and these events are just a part of life? |

If you want challenges, you're getting them! I experienced a lot of "bad luck" when I wanted obstacles to beat and hardships to overcome but wasn't seeking them out, so they came to me. Now I make a point of charging headfirst into projects way outside of my comfort zone and I've noticed much of that "bad luck" has stopped happening because I have plenty of challenging work on my plate. Basically, troubles can happen to you or you can happen to them first.  |

I am sorry for all your losses. But you need to know that nothing ever leaves your life unless something better is on the way! Like that old saying "When one door closes another one opens." I know it is hard to see all your losses as something good, But a lot of times when a challenge comes into our life it does spur us to greater insight and improvements in our lives. Like AP said, most people just troll along with their lives and do NOT like change and a lot of times deep down inside we know we need to make these changes, but we resist. Sometimes out of fear of the unknown and sometimes because we just don't feel we are worthy or deserving of a better life. But when it is time for you to move on and you have outgrown certain experiences, and you do not take action to move forward - the Universe will step in and gently get you to take those steps and actions toward a better life. A man could lose his wife to divorce and because of this it causes him to decide to go back to dating and as a result he changes his looks, exercises, changes beliefs about himself (that were not serving him anymore) and so forth. He finds a new woman and feels so much better about the divorce and realizes that his marriage wasn't giving him the love, excitement or passion he was missing in his life. Another example is someone who loses his job and is then forced to start a new business. His business skyrockets and 3 yrs later he looks back and realizes that the firing was just so great because it forced him to get into the business that he had been thinking of starting, but was too scared to get into. Also, if you don't really know what to do with your life or are confused - why don't you take a look at a thread I created awhile back Are you lost or confused about where your life is going? Lastly, there is a great book to help you get what you want by getting into the feeling of having it in your life to manifest it and it is called "Excuse me, your life is waiting," by Lynn Grabhorn. This is an excellent book and I highly recommend it. Keep in mind, your life can change for the better soon - nothing ever stays the same. In the next 3 months or so you could be at a nightclub and meet the woman of your dreams! So keep the faith!  Also, play the prosperity game for 30 days. This is a thread I started and a lot of people are receiving new money coming into their lives Want to manifest more money? Lets play the prosperity game for 30 days! Yes. And don't buy a new sound card yet. It might start working again when you mood is better. You are focused on things not working out and that's what things then do. You've got plenty of evidence already. |

I actually believe her for some reason, either that or I just don't want to think about it. Motivation to improve waxes and wanes as the days go by I've tried to ask my "spirit guides" for guidance but I tend to fall asleep and not remember the dreams but I do wake up feeling an incredible energy around me that dissipates as I become more awake. | |
