The more you start paying attention to, and thereby validating, your "serendipities," the more you will see them. I will give you my own example. Several years ago I read something about
angel numbers and how if you see certain numbers (especially in triplicate) it means the angels are communicating a message to you. At first I would look up the meanings, but then it started to happen so frequently that I couldn't even remember them all. I would "coincidentally" look at my phone at 2:22, or I would wake up on my own at 5:55. It got to the point where I would see 10+ numbers (license plates, phone numbers) in triplicate throughout the day, more when I was working with logistics and on the computer and phone all day.
Another example, I was in love with a guy but knew he wasn't right for me. I was driving and was asking for a sign. I happened to be listening to a radio drama, and shortly after asking for a sign, a wedding was announced in the drama. I thought, There's my sign! Shortly after that, the wedding cake was found to be poisoned, and I thought, No- THAT'S my sign! The universe has such a sense of humor!
My point being, if you're looking for signs, you'll find them, and the more you see them, the more of them you'll see. They are not coincidence, they are messages that you need to hear/see. Do you need to "engage in more boisterous merrymaking?" I'm pretty sure we could all use some of that!
Listen to the messages, don't over-think them. Just have fun with it. You'll get to know the universe's sense of humor quickly- I constantly find myself telling the universe how funny it is!
