Inspired by 2 threads I am partaking in (Mallie's first prosperity game and Mallie's second game ), I've decided to to make a tread about a step above and a step below. This shall be my step above thread. Everytime I play this game I feel like I am in Brewster's Millions. Quote:
So I got to thinking, many big projects out there cost more than a billion dollars now. I read to give a metropolitan city a new light rail public transit system was about $100 Billion. Would I be any better than those people that we protest against? 30 days would lead me to $465 billion in total. (correct me if I am wrong, I only did the tally once). I sit and think of how I would feel after spending $465 billion in 30 days and I feel powerful, vibrant, confident, fiercely alive and definitely driven to try it all again. Strangely different than the feelings of comfort and relaxation in the millionaire game. I wouldnt mind keeping in the billionaire mind set, it is more intuned with how I would like to feel now. Plus some loa techniques suggest focusing on the end result. I can't help but think about the legacy I could leave behind. So rules of the game are somewhat the same. You start with $1 billion, you must spend it all in one day. Each day another billion will be added onto your total amount to spend ending with 30 billion on the 30th day. Brewster's twists: No saving Only 10% to simply given to charities, though creating and financing a specialized a not-for-profit company is ok. You leave with nothing you own, but are given rights to use all you've created/financed. Let's get imaginative here. I'm thinking on using certain aspects of life that are often forgotten or are being marketed as a profitable enterprise rather than a right as stated by the UN. What if you could be like the government? Create your own micro nation? I don't think all countries make that in a year ,what could you do? What infrastructure would you develop if you simply had the money at your disposal? I hope that by simply playing this game I will start to see an increase of more positive money uses news than that of corporate greed. | |

At the partys end give the island to a party goer , one boat to another , give the secound boat to the guy at the dock .
