Default What's in Your Vision Board/Scrap Book?

I've been working on my Vision Board/Scrap Book. It's pretty dang cool. I'm building it electronically, so that it displays on my computer screen. So far I have some very nice manifestation pictures going: tropical islands, amazing automobiles, and expensive watches. I'm building more categories, as well--but I'm just getting started.

I've built the Image Board/Scrap Book into a database program in MS Access, where I track affirmations and other progress on my intentional manifestations and visualizations on a day-to-day basis. As well, I run the images through MS Power Point, and am experimenting with the "slide show" feature of Windows Media. This allows me to flash pictures all day long on my computer screen, while I am at work. Here, I use multiple monitors, so I can dedicate a monitor all day long to these visualizations. It's very empowering to have these amazing pictures display and flash on my computer screen. Anyone else work with Vision Boards/Scrap Books? What's in yours?

Default I Just Got John Asaraf's Book and Video on Vision Boards...

This should be interesting. I'll let you know what I think of John Asaraf's Book and Video on the use and benefits of Vision Boards, which arrived yesterday in the mail (I ordered it Online).

Anyone seen the video or read his books on this topic? I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts.

Wow, Carri, that sounds awesome! How long have you used your vision board/scrap book, and what have you liked about it in your visualization process and intentional manifestations? I'm just get started now for the first time ever. It seems like a no-brainer idea, I can't believe it took me so long. But you sound as if you're an old pro on it!

Default UPDATE: My E-Vision Board is Coming Along Nicely!

Check it out! Okay, so I'm continuing to build my vision board in an MS Access form. It's awesome far, and here is the status report.

A. Right Console

In the form, the console on the right is my Vision Board. It holds six pictures that display at the same time and change each day. For example, today's six pictures are as follows:

(1) A beautiful, white 2010 Rolls-Royce Phantom (Est. Cost: $380,000);

(2) A stunning Hublot Bang Caviar Black Watch (description: 18k white gold case and clasp that feature hundreds of precision cut black diamonds, for a total of 34.5 total carats. This includes 322 diamonds on the case, 179 on the bezel, and another 30 on the clasp at the end of the rubber strap. Black diamonds are exceedingly rare, and are attributed for most of the watch's value. (Est. Cost: $1 MIL);

(3) A breathtaking view of islands in the ocean (Bay of Islands Victoria Australia);

(4) The Atlanta White House Mansion (Est. Value: $9-10 MIL);

(5) A Very Cool Yacht (Est. Value: Millions);

(6) A brilliant and dazzling coral reef near Fiji. (Est. Value: Priceless)

B. Left Console

The Left Side is the Affirmations Board (six affirmations display each day). I am still writing out my new affirmations, to replace my old ones. So more on this later!

C. Center Console

The Center Console has:
(1) Today's Date;

(2) Today's Memo;

(3) Today's Creation Agenda;

(4) Today's Creation Diary (and time spent field);

(5) Today's Quote: "Obstacles cannot crush me. Every obstacle yields to stern resolve. He who is fixed to a star does not change his mind." (Leonardo da Vinci);

(6) Today's Spiritual Expansion (a diary of what mediation/visualization I'm doing) Not filled out yet;

(7) Today's Mental Expansion (a diary of what I do to expand my mind, like reading books, or learning new skills) Not filled out yet;

(8) Today's Physical Expansion (a diary of my workouts in the gym or running). Not filled out yet.

D. Lower Console

The lower console contains hyperlinks to my creative writing projects (musicals, songs, movies, and plays), such that when I click on any one of them, it will transport me to a "switchboard," where I can resume work on that project, be it writing a script, following-up on research for the work, or composing music. The form is still a work in progress, but I am getting very excited about the integration of my vision board with my tracking-of-progress form!

LET'S GET YOUR VISION BOARDS ROLLING OUT, PEOPLE!

Default Balbrae's Vision Board Photos: Sat. Nov. 5, 2011

Today, my inspiring vision board photos are as follows. ENJOY the imagery!

(1) Expensive Automobile: Ascari A10. This is a British made car. The body is made largely of carbon fiber, with a total weight of about 2,645 lbs. It has 625 HP, developed by a V8 engine. It is very quick and can go from zero to 62 m.p.h. in just 2.8 seconds! It also has a top speed of 225 mph. ($650k);

(2) Exquisite Wristwatch: Louis Moinet Magistralis, made with materials derived from a 2000-year-old, moon meteorite ($860k);

(3) Exotic Island: A Heart-shaped island in Cantebria Spain (Private Islands for sale cost hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars to buy, depending on where they are);

(4) A beautiful Coastal Beach House. See yourself sipping coffee and watching the sunrise here! (price unknown);

(5) An amazing yacht, the Eclipse (Est. $3M) (a typical yacht costs about $40k per linear foot. I'm guessing this yacht is about 75 feet in length)

(6) A beautiful reef, the French Frigate Shoals Reef ($Priceless).

Not sure if this counts but I've just written this into my journal:

Quote:
Affirmations for today:

I have a full timetable of English classes. I'm stretched and occupied to the perfect balance and extent. I enjoy and love my work.

I have a gorgeous six-pack and a sexy contoured body. I am delicious and gorgeous and wonderful to look at. I'm HOT.

I am fully aligned with the Universe. I am living in rememberence that I am like a cell in a greater body, and all that I do is aligned with the greater good. I fully understand that my good is secondary to the greater good, even if my good is linked and important to the greater good. I enjoy a sense of flow and support from the Universe. I know that I look out for the Universe and the Universe correspondingly looks out for me. I feel a sense of love and connection with the Universe as well as with all individual facets of it, including myself.
I'd like to get a board and pin these up, maybe as images or as short and poignant phrases.

Can anyone do an artist's impression of me with a six pack and 1 cm less fat on my body?

Awesome Life: that sounds great! Beautiful places are definitely inspiring! If your office would allow it, you might even think about having your MS Windows run your vision board photos as your desktop background image (set to the slideshow feature) as my photos are set to run on my computers' multiple screens. That way, all day long, those beautiful places to where you will one day travel will just flash on your screen, say, 10 seconds or so. Also, feel free to share your photos on this thread. That's what this thread is all about: "What's in your Vision Board?"

I made a threat last night to post mine, but then I deleted the picture and then the thread got deleted. I'm not 100% sure why I deleted the picture, I think because it has some stuff that isn't talked about on this forum really, and I wasn't sure what the opinion on here was. Oh well, I'll post it in here.

After the fact I kinda wish I would have put a nice car on there, but it's already complete and fits together nicely...I may have to come up with a more convenient way of doing it that is easier to edit and stuff. Nonetheless, I like it

Yes, Andrew your idea counts! Very cool! You could easily clip a photo of you and superimpose it on another person's body that helps you visualize your six pack and 1 cm less body fat. It is done all the time. Many programs do that, Adobe Photoshop, for example comes to mind, for one, but there are probably dozens of free download programs. Check out the Internet for that. That's a great idea! Your vision board will be very realistic. Having photos of yourself on your vision board is helpful because you want to be able to picture yourself in the scenes depicted! So your idea of superimposing your "now" image into your "future" image goes the extra mile.

I am depicted on my vision board, but I am not superimposed in the other photos. Nevertheless, just being depicted on the vision works well. Having my smiling picture adjacent to the picturesque photos above recounted allows me to "slide myself over" a bit in my mind--that is to say, I can look at my center picture of me smiling, and then superimpose that picture, say, to the exquisite watch that displays 3 inches to the right of my image. For example, I visualize that my smile in the photo is because I am cherishing such a perfect watch that I am wearing. I use the same "slide-myself-over" approach to all the other pictures. For example, I am smiling in the photo because: I'm driving the Ascari A10 car; wearing the Louis Moinet Watch; Sunning on my own private island that I bought, that is shaped like a heart in the middle of the sea; sipping coffee in my beach house looking at the sunrise; pulling my yacht out of the harbor for a week-long cruise; and scuba diving and seeing an amazing array of tropical fish around an awe-inspiring coral reef! So you are definitely on to something in wanting to post your head shot on the body you want, for visualization purposes!

With respect to how I have arranged photos on my vision board, in addition to having the photos above posted (cars, watches, islands, homes, yachts, and tropical reefs), my vision board has three groups of photos of my family: (1) on the top left I have a series of 3 small photos: (a) me smiling; (b) my gorgeous 8-month-old son, in his Halloween costume; and (c) my stunning wife, smiling; (2) on the top right, I have a picture of my son when he was less than a day old in the hospital. He looks angelic and serene; and (3) in the center of my vision board is a larger picture of me smiling. (Remember, it's an electronic, on-screen vision board made in Microsoft Access, as an electronic "form" for day-to-day tracking purposes. So I have tremendous flexibility in what I can put up, have change on a daily basis, and swap out when I want. Plus the pictures are "illuminated" in the sense that the computer screen is lighted.)

You may want to create your vision board electronically, too--in whatever software program you want (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, etc.). Keep us posted on the progress of your awesome vision board, Andrew! That is what this thread is about!
