It's so powerful to really acknowledge the distinction between intention and attention. So often, we declare and intend for manifesting our dreams… then our attention becomes seduced by our present circumstances. Not too long after making the intention for prosperity do we often start thinking about debt, the high cost of healthy living and the fear surrounding our economy. Remember, your attention is the words you’re speaking, the thoughts circulating through your mind and the appearances that capture your eyes. If you want abundance and are telling stories about lack, your attention trumps your intention. It’s so important to keep your attention acutely attuned to the feeling place of your intentions. If you allow the appearances and circumstances playing out in your reality to seduce your attention, you will endlessly keep recreating what you don’t want… all the while convincing yourself that you’re trying so hard to intend for what you do want. You’re a master at manifestation. Yet when our intentions get lost in the unconscious reactions of our attention and stories, it’s so easy to say “this manifestation crap is nonsense.” Your reality is always in a state of Becoming where your attention is RIGHT NOW!
The holiday season is a miraculous time for many people. It’s also a time of immense stress and feeling like you’re not going to be able to create the abundance you need to buy the gifts you so passionately want to give… for those who have dis-empowered themselves. Ask yourself: What does it feel like to know your bills are paid, you’ve got a bountiful selection of healthy food in the fridge and you have all the money you need to buy the gifts you’re looking forward to giving those you love? Now, can you keep your attention there, even in the midst of allowing everything in your reality that isn’t in harmony to dissolve or fall away? |

This is all very true, and also one of the most difficult things to master when it comes to intention-manifestation. Intending something is relatively easy... but paying attention to your, eh, attention is trickier. I'm thinking regular meditation would help a lot.

Your results don't lie! They're giving you an honest, authentic reflection about where you choose to direct your powerful attention. This is a great way to get back into deliberate mode, rather than ALLOWING reality to seduce your attention and make you fall into unconscious manifestation. | |

Is it necessary to be in the place where you feel like it has already happened? Because in many cases that can be quite difficult, especially when you don't know how an experience will feel or its difficult to recreate in your mind. If you focus on the idea that its on its way...or continue to have faith that something will occur, will that work as well? |

The disciplined mind will always have a good outcome. Awareness is a good place to start with intention/attention. Once staying aware of what the mind is focusing on, one can easily change the thoughts. This is a small example of what I mean. Quite often I catch myself out being caught up in the game of whining about this or that with another. I always end the conversation with a positive subject. I'll say, "Now lets say something positive before I go" and we will find something nice to speak of. It helps dissolve all the negativity we've just spread and neutralises it. You can use this exercise by yourself when catching yourself focusing on negative thoughts. |
