Default If you want to be rich then play the millionaire spending game with me

Hey everyone,

I see a lot of you are playing the 30 day prosperity spending game thread I started. I have a new 30 day game everyone can play (either after you are done with the $1,000 per day game or you can just start it now) called the millionaire spending game.

This game is designed to really open your mind to unlimited prosperity and abundance. When you have to spend 1 million dollars per day (and like the $1,000 game - each day you add a million - so on day 30 you need to spend 30 million dollars), you really open and expand your mind. You can buy houses, cars, jewelry, give to charities, take exotic vacations, buy houses for family members, pay off mortgages, go to expensive restaurants, hire personal assistants, personal chefs, nannies, cleaning servies, go to luxurious spas, travel on a private jet with your own private pilot, save for college for your kids, etc. The world really opens up for you when you are rich and loaded.

I played this game once and only got to day 5 and then too many things got in the way. I am now determined to start and finish it! I did find that magazines (and their websites) like Robb Report and town and country magazine and luxury websites were really helpful in getting ideas for spending my millions.

Also, the way to play this game and really convince your subconscious mind is to get your checkbook and a checkbook register and write out checks for things you are buying. You want to really get into the feeling that you have this money that you are spending. That is why it can take some time on the internet doing research. BUT the big payoff is that you are immersing yourself in pictures of wealth and abundance. This can then bring more wealth and abundance into your life. Because you have so much money to spend each day, you automatically start thinking of abundance all day since you have to think of ways to spend millions in one day

So who wants to play this game with me for 30 days?

When I played the millionaire game - here are some of the links (luckily I saved these links) I went to for ideas for spending my millions:

One last thing I am doing is visualizing being wealthy. I am also doing affirmations and one of the affirmations I would recommend doing to bring more money into your life is this one:

More and more money is now coming to me everyday! New channels of money now open up for me that are fun, easy, rich and joyful! I am now freed from all financial burdens and lack and limitation. I am open to receive! I am now receiving the unlimited wealth, abundance and greater good that the Universe has for me now. I am now rich. I am now free and happy. I am now living a charmed wonderful life. Wonderful financial miracles now manifest for me today. Today is the day of my amazing good fortune!

Have fun spending millions and being rich!!!

LOL Mallie I love you!
I was just thinking I should play this version myself. Even took out my old checkbook to see how many checks I had left (I have 4 old old ones which I can donate to this cause, a weekly account perhaps?). I was laughing because some people are stalling at $5000 and I'm nibbling away until I can get to big money.

$1 million.
well first I would start off with buying a farm with a spring water source.
like this one!
I am guessing my closing fees will take up the rest of the million.

Now, I can retire.

Hi Missbhaven

Oh goody! I am happy to have more participants. I'd rather not do this alone and it is more fun when other people join - so hopefully lots of people from the 1,000 thread will join.

I was going to do the 1,000 game, but not only do I have have a lot of big purchases (like my 3 million dollar house and a 2 million dollar home for my parents, etc - but I want to shop at tiffanys on rodeo drive in Los Angeles - and buy some expensive bling for myself! lol! ), but I really want (in real life) wealth and abundance to come to me so this game is more mind expanding then spending 1,000 per day. Although, you really do have to stretch your mind on this one so I will be giving out ideas that I come across and I am hoping to get ideas from other people as well.

So thanks for joining and we will have fun being multi-millionaires!

Btw: I love your idea of buying a farm and the pictures are really great! Good choice!

Also, I am like you, I need to get to the bank and get another blank checkbook register and order some more checks to make this game really authentic. When I played it last, it felt so unreal writing out a check for 1 million dollars to my parents, but it made me feel sooo wealthy doing it!

I am totally in.

Okay. $1m.

Set aside $180,000 for my kids education at a local private school (this will be enough to pay for both of them all the way through high school, and it includes uniforms, extracurriculars, and various other extras; it's probably more than we need, but better more than less ).

Two new cars, custom ordered. I'll let my husband choose his own and I'll choose my own. I want something small, highly maneuverable, very good fuel economy, all the extras I'd want, and I get to choose the colour when I order it. We'll set aside $50,000 for the two cars.

That leaves $770,000, and I'm hanging on to that until tomorrow, because I have a property I've had my eye on, and tomorrow, I'm buying it!

Brazil instead is where I want to spend more and more time in the Future... My heart is there.....

Hi butterfly woman,

Glad you are joining! I like this game better than the other one I started because this game gives you more spending room to spend on really big, exciting and exotic purchases. And I love your idea of the custom cars! I want to buy a $100,000 mercedes - maybe tomorrow! Because today I quit my job with my first million!

Happy spending!

Surprisingly, my husband isn't quitting his job immediately. He works in research at a university (non-academic), and wants to finish up the project he's working on because he finds it interesting, they need his expertise, and he feels like he's doing something worthwhile (which he is).

(We've actually discussed this, and I know this is what he's got in mind. He might go back and do a PhD at the same research facility, though, partly because he feels his thesis could contribute useful knowledge to the field, and partly just because he thinks it's be cool to have a PhD )

I know. He can muck around with getting a PhD or not without worrying about income or anything else. It's real freedom.

Hi Esoteric 53,

Oh you are so lucky to live in Italy! I looove the italian culture and the food is delicious!

Yes, Brazil is someplace I want to visit too. With my millions I will contact a travel agent and have them send me some brochures so I can puruse them and really immerse my subconscious mind. But of course, it will be first class travel (by private jet) and first class hotel accomadations all the way for this trip! And lots of champagne (like cristal), but no caviar (I hate fish eggs - yuck - lol!)

Thank you my friend for the kind offer to visit your locations!

Ohhh God It feels so good to have $1M I'm gonna fly off to see the person that I love, bearing gifts, I will spend all that money having fun enjoying and just being carefree and giving back to this person who has given to me when I had none...

So we will travel together around the world, take loads of pictures together, go wherever my money takes us. Eat out, shop, do fun activities, visit friends, throw a party, and be generous to people...

Basically just living the life for a couple of months and take a much needed vacation!

$1 Million a DAY?!

NOW we're talking!!!

WOW!!!

The FIRST thing I'd do is order myself my DREAM car:

A 2012 BMW 760Li in THIS Configuration:
Deep Sea Blue Metallic
M-Sport Package
Black Alcantara Carpets with matching Suede Headliner and Roof
Champagne Full Merino Individual Leather
Ash Grain Wood Trim
ALL Options, Packages and Accessories.
The Rear has a Fridge and a Dual-Zone Entertainment System with a Blu-Ray Player on each screen, GPS, Mobile Internet Access and HDTV Tuners with TWO iDrive Remotes.
And a 16-Speaker B&O Sound System

$190,000 Out the Door

I'll lock down my Recording Studio Consoles and get those ready to be shipped to me, 1 of them paid in FULL the other one with a deposit down to be paid in FULL for tomorrow!

One is $140K, the other is $450K, and the last one is $125K.

The other $95K will be used for new clothing at Neiman Marcus ($10K), some new keyboards for my studio, 2 Mac 12-Core Pro's maxed out ($50K), and some recording software to start with immediately!

Hey Sina,

Good to hear from you! How goes it on the lottery front? I figured I would play this game to get into the vibration of a lottery winner and multi-millionaire. I am pretending I have won my millions and I am going to spend my money as I would when I do win the lottery. That is why today I quit my crappy job! (I can hardly wait until in real life I can quit!)

I knew this game would be right up your alley and now you too can get into the vibration of multi-millionaire status! I love it and I loooove money!!! I looove being a multi-millionaire!

Btw: tomorrow is my last theta/srt session and we are doing the divine love downloads and then I am done - so thanks again for hooking me up with Bo - she has been great. I think I spent like $500 or so on the srt/theta sessions with her - but I am glad to have cleared out all the blocks and garbage! So thanks again!

Mallie...Thank you for the kind words... Yeah, the place is not too bad.. I live in a small town in the North ( Trento...Council of Trent from History class...smile)...I have always been the type of person wanting to look beyond my Country's borders though ( even though appreciating what I have here, sure) cos I have always been attracted to different places, People and Cultures...
In the past I was lucky enough to be able to travel extensively...Then I had to stop for a few reasons.... I hope I'll start doing that again granted some wealth hits me soon....

I love your Plans and the fact you'll do your travels in style......I admit that I would have always liked to try to fly by private jet at least once ( hopefully more than just once)..I know it will happen.

Sure, I reconfirm my invitation...Hopefully by the time you might decide to visit , my house / big apt. will be all set up already either here in Italy and also in Brazil ( Salvador da Bahia, beautiful city on the Atlantic Ocean)

Sina
OK so now we're at $2 Million.

The consoles are paid off now and fully ready to ship.

That's $265K.

I bought some more cars:

A used 2006 Maybach 62S for $250K (there are $500-$600,000 New!)
A BMW 550i GT M-Sport for $110K
Another 2012 7-Series, but this time an Alpina B7L Maxed Out! $235K
And a Maxed Out Porsche Panamera Turbo S for $215K

WOW! Life is INCREDIBLE!!!

That's $1,075,000 so far!

I bought some more equipment for my studio and paid about $250K for it all.

Bought myself a beautiful B&O Home Theater System with the 103" Plasma and Stand with the optional Center Speaker, 10 flagship BeoLab 5's for the front, surrounds and rears. 8 BeoLab 3's for Front and Rear Presence Speakers (Near Filed and Mid-Field) and 8 more Side Surrounds (4 on each side). Throw in the Wall Mounted CD-Changer, DVD Player, Digital Music Server, Remotes, etc. And your at $500K.

The other $325K I splurged with on various things:

New Bed, new furniture, new light fixtures for the house, did some remodeling, and helped out some friends and family.

Can't wait for $3 Million tomorrow!

Awesome! I will gladly participate.

Pay off taxes owed, credit cards, student loans, car, and mortgage roughly $300,000.

Buy myself a used Nissan X-Terra, an Audi convertible, and Audi sedan. Roughly $200,000.

Donate $100,000 to the local Animal Protective League.

Put $100,000 in savings.

Take the remaining $300,000 and divide it up equally with three of my friends.

Okay, woot! $2.7 today.

There is a property I've had my eye on for a while. It's not far outside the edges of the suburbs, but it's very private and it's got a lake (a reservoir, or as Aussies call it, a dam), an extensive garden, and about 30 acres of land. There's already a house on it, and there's a perfect place to build our dream house, so we can live in the existing house while our new house is built. The property is listed as "$1.5 million or more" so I'm going to offer them $1.7, cash on the barrelhead, and they'll accept that (property's been on the market for quite some time). Then there will be the various tariffs and legal fees, and while I don't know how much that would come to, I'm going to assume about 15% and set aside an additional $250,000 for incidentals and inspections and whatever. So, today I'm spending $1.95 million on a gorgeous piece of property.

Which still leaves $750,000. Set some aside to have the house renovated (put in some solar panels, replace carpets with wood, painting here and there, etc.), but the house is in pretty good condition and most of the changes are cosmetic and won't cost that much, so I guess we'll put some money into having some greenhouses built. I'm thinking probably $150,000 for all the renovations and so on.

And the other $600,000 I'm going to give to charity, because tomorrow I'll have even more to spend.

I thought I was creative... But I'm realizing I'm not when it comes to spending much money cos I simply am not used to manage big amounts so I feel kinda disoriented.....

After buying one or 2 houses in places I love ( I love to travel and I can just rent in every place I go to for long extended stays) .... Travelling in style ( 1st class or private jet) ...... Gifting the Woman I love, friends, ex-wife ( for whom i still have a lot of affection) and the People I care about... Giving out to about a group of 5-6 Charities ( substantial amounts to each one of them... periodically)...

I don't have many more ideas on where else to spend t......For one... I don't care about cars ( funny, I used to care about them many years ago when money was really tight...)

You guys are simply awesome ( women first as usual) and brilliant and even innovative when it comes to plans and ways about how to spend your Wealth..... I'll try to pick up suggestions from all of you.

Hi Esoteric 53

Yes, this game can be quite challenging but very mind expanding! There are many links above to the expensive things to buy. Some other suggestions are that you could buy land, real estate (like apt complexes), give to charities, set up trust funds for your nieces and nephews, buy new homes and spend 1 million on interior decorating, why not buy a vacation home in the USA or in Hawaii, buy an island for you and your girlfriend to get away to, buy a yacht buy homes for friends or family members, buy commercial real estate, be a venture capitalist, invest money for your future, etc.

YES! What another glorious day.

Oh the decisions we must make. I feel like Richard Pryor in Brewsters Millions, though you wont see me running in any election.
I sat today and said; "I must have a plan. I can only write out 4 checks. Lets look at this logically."
My first check will cover Real estate purchases, paid to 1 agent.
My second check will be paid to my accountant who will use it to cover personal expenses; all vacations, hobbies, clothes, food, entertainment et cetera.
My third check will cover all business aspects; construction, payroll, and assorted investments.
My last check with cover the costs of all outstanding balances, all donations, and ingenious contraptions that I can really make a difference with. (I wonder if I could keep this up for a 100 days, you'd be surprised at what I'd do with BILLIONS MUHAHAHA... )

That being said.... Day 2
$2,000,000. Sitting in my dad's house waiting for the place I got yesterday to close. Now that I got that place, he's saying he may not move after all, he knows he's got a cabin waiting for him on my property. I find it humorous, and I love it.
Soo I am just kicking it back and letting all my new found wealth sink in, keeping myself in the GO mode until all the paperwork is clear and I can jet away.
But now I am torn.
I don't know which property I want to use my $2,000,000 as a downpayment for.
So I called my mom and told her to pick and surprise me. She'll be the one there most of the time anyways.
I think she may go with option 2.

Option 1 (my personal fav)
Option 2
Option 3
All could be able to be converted in permaculture farm or developed into a planned agricultural environmental reserves.

More property planned for this week, oh my oh my.. where shall I get from next?

All good suggestions. Thanks...In order to be able to buy all that and get that kind of money I should be the Winner of the "Superenalotto" jackpot... The italian lotto game....Last year one was able to hit the highest jackpot since the game started ( more than 10 years ago) with a simple EUR 1 Card, the basic Card... This person won 178 Million Euros... And here in Italy you don't pay taxes on it ( taxes are already taken from the cards sales) so you get to keep the whole amount....Right now the jackpot is around 30 Million Euros....I play once or twice a month with the minimum ( 2 columns,6 numbers to guess 1-90) 1 EUR Card...
The chances to hit all 6 numbers ( extremely difficult) is about one on 600 Million.
Some People get together and play complicated and very costly systems. No guarantee of course. You can win also with guessing 5, or 4 or 3 numbers .... I did win by guessing 3 numbers in the past but the win is practically nothing... 1 or 2 Euros.
