I just want to note this, mostly for myself, but also for anyone else who might want to read it. I just felt the shift. The resistance gave way and I realised: I don't want to worry about, think about, fuss over, be bothered by, or otherwise be burdened by money or the concept of money. All my life, I've felt like money was this extra-precious thing that was to be sought, being difficult to obtain and difficult to keep, and so on. Lots of weird ideas about money, all entangled in with lack mentality. But what I really want is not necessarily to have a lot of money, per se. What I actually want is to be free of the attachment to money. Seems quite obvious when I write it down, but until I played this game I hadn't seen that before. From this moment forward, I refuse to allow this concept called "money" to obsess me or rule me or take up all my time thinking about it or worrying about having it or not having it. No matter what, money is free to come and go and I am free to have it or ignore it or hire someone else to handle it for me. Wow. That feels AMAZING. Truly. |

$29million today. Money is free to come and to go. I am not bound to it or by it. It's still useful, but no longer "important". Money is just a useful medium by which various experiences may be had. It's expedient, and I do appreciate expediency, so I appreciate money. But in the long run, it just is what it is. Feels good. $20million into savings/investments to generate future interest and dividend income. $9million to charity. Time for a cup of tea. |

Shoot! Missed another day, so I have some making up to do again, LOVE IT! Ok, today I have the 2 days combined, so I've got $47,000,000 to spend. Crazy how much money it ends up being if you miss just one short day. $19,000,000 goes to tithing and savings, leaving me with $28,000,000. What would I really like to do today? I really don't know. This game does help to realize that I'm not really looking for blingy experiences in my life, so much as the freedom that having money provides. And if I had that freedom, I would take off, just go. I would start by buying a little truck or SUV, something comfortable, as green as possible, and rugged so I can do a little off-roading. I'm going to leave the midwest and drive south. I don't really need to pack, because I can buy whatever I need at a moment's notice. First I drive to Chicago and spend a week with Mic. Then I drive to KY to visit my rels there. Next to Louisiana to spend some time in Nola and to visit some old friends. Along the way, I stop off at every place of interest, every kitschy rest area, every park, whatever I want because I've got all the time and money in the world. After Louisiana, I head to FL to do some diving and have some beach time. I find a nice key and stay there for a time, then head up the eastern seaboard, up into Canada, across the north and back down the West Coast. I stop and visit friends here too, and get lost in the woods in all the places I have dreamed of, but never visited. I brush up on my French in Quebec, I ski near Lake Louise. I get to know Portland and Seattle, I hike in Pac-NW. I go down to Cali and enjoy it in style, like I could never do while I lived there. I learn to surf at Rincon, dive for abalone south of SF. I ski Tahoe and XC ski at a friend's resort near Mammoth. I relax, my eyes don't squint because I'm stressed. Life is slow and leisurely, and I'm getting to know people in ways I never had time for before. I zig-zag back across the country, to the mountains, the desert, the plains. I head further south into Latin America and become a traveler again, just another one on the circuit. I write and write and write and write. I have no agenda, I am free. This is how I spend my $28,000,000 today: I am a traveling angel. Free, and distributing money as I see fit. Last edited by evandangie; 12-01-2011 at 03:07 AM. |

$31,000,000 Ahh my last day to spend on my desires, tommorow is the last day and donation day (But I am going to list that also) $8 Mill of this money I pool into savings and seeds that can be saved for a long time (future profit). $8 Mill I give myself the gift of a last shopping spree at in Paris for myself and the hubby. This I buy classic items and suits that I can go the next 3 years without NEEDING to shop. I hire a seamstress and create a clothing fund for textiles to keep me looking stylish for the following 3 years. I am also buying a sophisticated everyday extremely pale cornflower sapphire set (ring, earrings, pendant, and bracelet). $7 Mill to stock up all my wine and spirit collections. $8 Mill and extra $2 Mill each in my parents and in-laws retirement funds. |

$30million, and I'm putting ALL of it into investment/savings to provide future income. I will have millions coming in annually from here on out, and that's just from the interest. If we get into principal and non-liquid worth such as jewellery, gold/silver bars and ingots and coins, antiquities and rare books, the helicopter, cars, and boat, and, of course, the many properties and businesses we now have, I'm totally and utterly set for life. I can do anything, go anywhere. If I travel overseas, I can hire someone to be a translator and tour guide. If I want to go shopping in the city, I can just hire a limo and a driver to follow me around and carry my packages for me. I can throw money at people who are developing green technology (something that's very important to me) and I can give it away or keep it, as I wish. It's all very, very good. |

I decided to play this game in my head a few days ago. i went through all the days in one go and i found out what my limiting beliefs are when it comes to owning incredible amounts of money... 1- too much money means too much responsibility and too much responsibility means too much work with no time to rest and this will lead me to be unhealthy in many ways. even if i just owned the money but did nothing with it, i would feel somewhat guilty for not helping people out when they need it. 2- too much money means having soooo many things to buy that i end up not knowing what to buy and because i can not decide what to buy, i will end up becoming superficial and just buy everything of every kind. 3- too much money makes life too easy and thus very boring. After giving this some thought, i find that these barriers are not limiting me, they are protecting me. so instead of removing these barriers i have decided instead to type out this... 1- everyone with the necessary amount of money for them self is responsible for only them self. no one worries about another not having enough. no one has to work harder to keep the others afloat. no one has a need to steal from another. no one is jealous. everyone gets plenty of time to enjoy life. 2- everyone with the necessary amount of money for them self thinks carefully about what they should buy. they choose things based on both logic and emotion. which object will best serve their needs and which object brings them the most joy. everything they own (or create) has very deep meaning. 3- same as above. everyone with the necessary amount of money for them self thinks carefully about what they should do. they choose things based on both logic and emotion. which activity will best serve their needs and which activity brings them the most joy. everything they do (or express) has very deep meaning. Ah, now that would be a good world to live in. you could even replace the word 'money' with the word 'power'. Anyway, this is just me....... |

$25,000,000 today. That last post felt really good. The funny thing about this game is that I really have to reach for things to buy but at the end of the day, if it's all about being in the feeling place, then I don't want to overthink things. I want it to be organic, I want to do things that feel good and true and authentic. My last post was all of these things. I realize again and again that what keeps me from having things in my life is not wanting the responsibility. In theory I want to have financial wealth and a home, a husband and kids, a business. But in my heart, I'm such a Peter Pan. I want to flit off and not be anchored. How do I reconcile the two sides? More than anything, I want a life partner, but can't seem to get to the place where I'll let him in. And the financial wealth carries such weight too. Limbo is where I've been living since forever. Weightless, suspended, observing the progression of others. $25,000,000. $10,000,000 to savings and tithing. I was looking at a magazine yesterday and remembered my love for Blake Mycoskie and Tom's Shoes. I want to start a company like this, a one-for-one company which is profitable and philanthropic at the same time. I'm going to buy some diamond mines in southern Africa so that I an ensure humane working conditions. I start a school here and overhaul entire communities to safeguard them from the craziness they've seen for so long. I find a completely new way to sell and market diamonds, a kind of fair-trade stamp of approval for gems. I travel around the world, to all kinds of gem-mining areas and do the same. I buy up mines and other areas where gems are found, and ensure safe and humane working conditions, as well as making sure the workers are appropriately compensated for their work, and that their families are provided for, that there is a safe community to be a part of. My other love is textiles, and for this I'm going to Sri Lanka, India and Nepal to tap into their local expertise. I do the same thing in these areas, buy up manufacturing plants and overhaul the system to make sure everyone is treated and compensated fairly. The products coming out of my factories are beautiful, and a big hit and everyone loves the mission, which drives huge loyalty for the brands. These projects account for the $15,000,000 remaining. |

$32,000,000 My Last day! I even went 2 days over the 30 day challenge! And It's a multiple of 8 soo it means it's DONATION DAY! What a fun 4 weeks it has been! I could break this up into many charities. But I won't. There is 1 I have constantly supported throughout the years. SICK KIDS HOSPITAL! I have never really had issues as a kid. But I have been there for friends who have lost young ones to the many diseases we all could face. But kids, I love their spirit. The belief they have to keep going. They often provie us with the deepest insights and the greatest lessons. I know this is a very well supported organization. But I am donating my money specifically help children from 3rd world countries (and their families) who may otherwise not be able to get or afford the help necessary. I know these will be even more grateful for the assistance, way more grateful than I feel at this moment to be able to provide. I would like to thank God and all his entities that helped assist me in removing many blockages in this game, opening my heart, resetting my priorities and regaining confidence in myself that I was in danger of losing. May all my works continue to remain benevolent for all those involved. Thank you for bringing these desires in my life in the most efficient way possible. I know that all these things are possible with all of your divine influence, and I trust you to exceed many of my own expectations. May I continue to live up to be the legend I am created to be. Thank you to all participants who have helped cement my new reality through the reading and affirming of every post made in this topic. May my love and respect be felt and appreciated by all who have assisted. Thanks again. |

I was thinking how funny it is that, right at the 3-week/21-day mark is when I stopped posting daily for this game. Funny because that is the marker for when something becomes a habit. Not a coincidence, I'm sure! I have still been keeping up, but it's been more of an every other day practice this past week. Maybe when you get up to $20,000,000 it gets sort of ridiculous, like what the f could you possibly buy with that much money? And it starts to get a little silly that you're just spending and spending and spending, that you have to keep doing it... but that's part of the magic, part of the 'work' if you will. I have started to realize though that if you really get into this, really visualize yourself on these yachts, etc., your whole life would be so different. Like tonight, doing some research online, I see this yacht and i think, that would be awesome. But you look around this yacht and it's huge, so it's not something you'd want to rattle around on alone, you'd need people to be with you. So then, you want to have friends come along, but your friends need to work, so they can't come. And you could maybe support your family, but not your friends, so you'd have to find other people who could live the same sort of life as you... Obviously this is all relative, but it is a consideration, that you you're life when you have a different level of income simply must be different than where you are now. So, $53,000,000 today. $21,000,000 to savings/tithing, leaving $32,000,000 to spend. I feel like going on holiday again. After my traveling experience, I decide I want to go back to doing it in style. I purchase a boat similar to this one for $20,000,000 and sail to the Mediterranean. I am using $10,000,000 to fund an underwater archaeology study and the crew will be on another boat, but we will generally be anchored together. We get outfitted with the appropriate gear, and sail for Greece. We spend a year doing the research, and I participate periodically in the dig, in between my travels. I get to see a lot of the area, and explore many islands both above and below water. |

$26,000,000 to spend today, $10,000,000 to tithing and savings. I've decided to spend my money by investing in local business as a Venture Capitalist. I find several companies I really like, all across the board: a restaurant specializing in organic ethnic fare at a reasonable cost in a lower-income area; a neighborhood revitalization project that is working on finding ways to be both profitable and philanthropic; a few computer software companies; a gluten-free bakery; and a few others I can't remember right now, but they're all really great!
