Today I wake up having $2,000,000. What a wonderful feeling.

Yesterday I took care of paying off my debt, buying three cars, donating to the Animal Protective League, and sharing with my friends. It was a busy day.

Today I decide to treat myself to an unencumbered shopping spree. I go to Best Buy and find the biggest and best TV, a brand new top of the line MacBook, and some other gadgets that one just can't live without. Then I hop on over to Pier One and get some decorations for my house. My last stop is at Kohls where I purchase some clothing. Try as I may I was only able to spend $50,000 so I've got a ton left over.

I decide to commit some random acts of kindness. I go to the bank and ask for $100,000 in $100 bills. Then I swing by the Wal-Mart and begin handing out money to those that look in need. I've only handed out $10,000 but I feel like I need to leave as word has gotten out and I am beginning to get swarmed. I go to the local gas station and give them $5,000 instructing them to offer everyone free gas until the $5,000 runs out. I take my remaining money from the $100,000 and drop it off at a local food bank.

I've only spent $150,000 but I am already beat. Oh well. No rest for the wicked. I run to my bank and put $200,000 into savings. Gotta get that emergency fund built up that Suze Orman laments about.

I am still in the spirit of helping people so I stop by the Animal Protective League again and drop off another $100,000.

I decide to take $550,000 and divide it up equally amongst my immediate family members. That leaves me with $1,000,000 remaining. I can't think of a single thing I want or need. I decide to put the $1,000,000 away in savings for the time being.

Thanks for all the great hints........ The gas station and other things are something I would have never thought about and they are original and useful.

Default Day 3

Busy day yesterday, I didn’t get around to spending my money so I now have $5,000,000.00.

I’m getting $12,000.00 worth of dental work done. That includes invisilign braces and my wisdom teeth removed. While I’m there I may as well get my teeth cleaned and whitened so I’ll throw in $1,000.00 for that. I’m using $6,000.00 to get surgery on an old ailment. I’m spending another $6,000.00 to install solar panels on my house and $20,000.00 to make my home and garden completely eco and vegan friendly. I’m giving all of my clothes to charity and I’m buying a completely new wardrobe. I’m going to spend about $50,000.00 on new clothes and shoes. That sounds like a lot but I’m only going to buy clothes from new up and coming designers who specialize in eco friendly vegan clothing to help them with their career. Oh I almost forgot about my uni hecs debt which is around $45,000.00 so I’ll pay that off too.

With the remaining $4,860,000.00 I’m going to give $1,000,000.00 to my parents, $1,000,000.00 to my brother and sister in law and $2,000,000.00 to be divided amongst the remainder of my extended family. I’ll give the $860,000.00 to charity.

It feels so good to have money that I can give away.

I have been belaboring all day over the fact that I still have $1,000,000 remaining for today. I've already paid off my debt, purchased new cars, donated to friends and family, given to the Humane Society, and handed out cash to unsuspecting people.

I would build a very nice, deluxe and modern barn out on my property. It would be used for things like storing cars, the riding lawn mower, stuff like that. The cost is $50,000.

Speaking of riding lawn mowers. I would buy myself a top of the line mower. Cost would be $30,000.

Continuing my random acts of kindness initiative I would go to the local schools and give each teacher $5,000 in cash for classroom supplies. I would estimate there being 100 teachers for a total cost of $500,000.

I would hire a housekeeper to come weekly and do heavy cleaning. That would be a minimal cost.

That would leave me with $420,000. I decide to stop at fast food restaurants and gas stations and observe the employees. For each employee who is kind and enthusiastic I would give them a check for $5,000. I do this for 20 people for a total cost of $100,000.

That's it. I'm done for the day. I will put the remaining $320,000 into savings.

Looking forward to tomorrow.

Another busy day putting in offers on properties. I'm lucky most don't need more than 10% down and 15 or 30 day closes.
With my $3 million today, $ 2.5 million seals my conditional offer on a downtown piece of land.
I plan on building an inner city greenhouse with a store and restaurant and some offices on ground level, Parking spaces, and residential units on top floors.
The other $ 500, 000 is to pay for the law team clearing, researching (and maybe even rezoning) these properties for sale. That should cover this week.

Ok so I had $1,000,000 to spend today. I officially quit work. I have done a number of things, and these include.

-I have rented out Avalon at the sea in Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii for 30 days. Great view of the beach all around, infinity pool, beautiful place. $102,000.

-I now have 2 assistants. They each work 3.5 days or 42 hours each. One works Monday-Thurs and the other Thurs-Sunday. They are available 12 hours per day. They wash clothes, fix meals, shopping, etc. I will pay them for the year. $200,000.

-I have a daily personal trainer bought for a year. Trains me for 2 hours per day. Cost $60,000.

-I bought a ZR1 Corvette souped up model. Niiiiicccce car! Cost $115,000.

-I bought my mom a 2012 mustang. GT premium convertable at $38,000.

-I gave Xenya $100,000 to go buy whatever car she would like.

-I gave my sisters $185,000 to do what they want with it.

-I gave my mom $150,000 cash to spend as she wants.

-I went to a really nice dinner. The bill came to $1,000. I tipped the waitress $49,000.

That is how I spent my first million.

$3million today. Let's see. I have the property, got the work on the house there going and the greenhouses being built... bought new cars, gave a big hunk to charity, set aside money in a trust fund for my two younger daughters' education (through the end of high school).

I'm going to get a ring made. I want an Australian Argyle diamond, a champagne coloured one, with stunning clarity and a nice cut (I'm thinking pear, but maybe a cushion cut or an emerald cut if the stone has nice enough colour for it) and decent size (maybe 1.5 carats or so). I'm working with the jeweller to create a custom design, with platinum as well as yellow gold, something that will be wearable with my plain gold wedding band. I don't know what sort of design to get, so I'll work with the designer to get something I like. I'm happy to spend a good chunk of money on it, because it's going to be one of a kind and made especially for me. Let's set aside $200,000 for the ring, and whatever I don't spend on it I'll donate to an Australian charity.

Of course, this leaves me $2.8 million. I'll put that aside toward our dream house while I contact architecture firms to find someone we want to work with on the project.

I have $3,000,000 to spend today. I woke up looking forward to spending it. It must be fun to be Oprah.

I have all of my debt paid off, I purchased three new cars, I went on shopping trips to Best Buy and Pier One, I've given money to friends and family, and I have donated tons of money to organizations and individuals. Oh, and I took my family on vacation to Disney World and Washington D.C. I have roughly $500,000 in savings.

Today I decide that I am going to put $500,000 in savings which will leave me with a million saved. I am going to donate the rest of my money.

I start a website asking people to nominate those who are deserving and in need. The person nominating needs to describe what makes the individual so spectacular, what their need is, i.e. paying off their mortgage, buying a new car and how their quality of life would improve by receiving the donation.

Within an hour I already have a dozen nominations. By day's end I have paid off five people's mortgages for a total cost of approximately $500,000. I have purchased new vehicles for 10 people for a cost of approximately $300,000. I have provided twenty single parents with weekly housekeeping services for one year at a total cost of approximately $200,000.

I have $1,000,000 remaining for the day. I want to help as many individual people as possible. I decide to stop by the local elementary school and ask teachers who is most in need and most deserving of some assistance. It is there that I meet five of the happiest families that I have ever seen. All five are in serious financial trouble and facing foreclosure. I decide to give each family $200,000 to be used to pay off debt and get financially stable.

Okay, $4million today! Cool.

I'm going to put $2million aside with the $2.8 leftover from yesterday, which is a total of $4.8. That's going to be earning interest as our building fund while we work on the plans for our dream house and eventually begin building and ordering the materials and so forth.

And the other $2million is going to go into two international trust funds, $1million each, for my two adult children. They'll be able to access the interest in an incremented way and eventually the whole of the principle, but not right away because they're fairly young and I don't want them to develop "Sudden Wealth Syndrome". I'll work with the accountants and lawyers to create a fair and reasonable system to kind of ease them into it.

This is so cool. I love having lots of money! Yay!

I had $2,000,000 to spend today. I made it simple. I have so much and the universe blesses me everyday. So I went to a restaurant and watched the people and what they tipped the waitress. The people who tipped well were chased down and given $250,000 a peace. I made 8 generous peoples day, because they cared enough to make someone elses day first. IMO you can tell a lot by what a person tips. I'm not a waiter, but I feel for them when they get stiffed.

This game has taken over my life (in a fun way!). I spend so much time thinking about what to spend my money on and I wake up in the morning looking forward to this post. It's cool.

I have $4,000,000 dollars today. I currently have $1,000,000 in savings. I have my house, car, and debt paid off. My family and friends are well taken care of. I have donated so much to the Animal Protective League that they are having an emergency committee to decide how to handle the funds. I have paid off several mortgages for struggling families and given ten needy people brand new vehicles. I shopped to my hearts delight at Best Buy and Pier One. I have three new vehicles that are fun to tinker with. My wants and needs are entirely covered with a cold million in savings to boot. I am a happy camper.

My goal for today is to begin building a luxurious apartment complex for disabled adults. The complex will have 40 2-bedroom apartments. They will be as luxurious as anyone could ever imagine. Rent will be a flat fee of $400 per month (a rate I know they can afford). I vow to use only local contractors so the local economy will be helped by the building. I am given an estimate of 1.5 million dollars for the construction. I accept it. Construction will be completed by mid-2012.

Next I stop at Wal-Mart, the local dollar stores, and the grocery stories. I identify ten employees who look to be over the age of 75. I take each person aside and offer to give them money so that they can retire. I give each person $200,000 - an amount that will easily allow them to stop working.

I am left with $500,000 for the day. I log onto Art.com and start selecting my favorite pictures. Two hours later I am completing the check out process with for a total of $15,000. I browse Amazon.com but nothing catches my eye.

I decide to go to my local public library and donate $450,000 for new books. They are ecstatic. I keep the remaining money as pocket money.

Yesterday I called my friend and confirmed which piece my mom chose on day 2 and then put an offer in for this apartment building in the Bahamas also and I wired the $4,000,000 to her. Close enough to everything, unfortunately it's mostly occupied. I am looking for something I can move my friends and family into ASAP. I explained my needs and she is holding the funds to place offers on something similar, just because I don't want to turn people out of their homes and if I build something I might as well build to my specifications.
She will have a package ready for me when I arrive a week before my yoga teacher training. Then all decisions shall be finalized.

$5,000,000
I am getting a little bored of getting strictly properties. But then I always see something I like.
I called my aunt and wired her the money to buy as many homes as she can get in her community only 1 4 bedroom house, 1 1 bedroom condo, the rest 2 and 3 bedrooms preference made for homes over condos (greens fees are an mandatory inclusion). To put a cap at 6-8 houses and with the extra, find a nice chalet at a near by GOOD ski hill.

I'm in! A little late, but wanted to try it out. I have done this a little in the past, but I feel like if I make the commitment with others and actually have to think about it and plan for it (adding a million every day... wow, that's a lot of money!) and evoke the feelings of it by writing about it, great emotive combination!

Ok, so today I have $1 million. The first thing I will do is take care of my debt, and OH, WHAT A WONDERFUL FEELING TO BE DEBT-FREE!
- loans, credit cards, student loans and car: $50,000
- pay off my mom's house: $150,000

Then, I would move on to some fun things, since I still have $800,000 left to spend. I think I will move on to some real estate.
- multi-family residence/ income property: $400,000 ($310,000 for purchase, the rest for closing costs, property tax, etc.)
- $100,000 for updating and repairs

Then, after all this work, I would plan a short vacation with some friends to my old stomping grounds in SoCal
- airfare into SAN for 3: $2,400
- 5 days' stay @ Estancia La Jolla: $3,500
- 5-star restaurant dinners: $2,000
- Deluxe spa treatment: $4,000
- this Bentley looks pretty comfy for a road trip back home: $275,000

Can't wait for my trip to San Diego next weekend!

$5million today, and I'm setting up the trust funds for my two younger kids, with $1million in each, plus an appropriate set of conditions for accessing the money (interest only until they reach a certain age, etc.).

I'll also set aside some money for their future education (tertiary) and provide the funds to pay off my adult children's student loans (they've both graduated at this point). So I guess I'll set aside $300,000 for that purpose.

And, gosh, that still leaves me with $2.7 million. Goodness gracious.

I'll give $50,000 to my in-laws. I would happily give them more, but, honestly, I don't think they'd accept it, and we can say that $50,000 is a repayment of debt (we probably owe them at least that much for financial help they've provided over the years, which they've always said, 'you don't have to pay us back').

But spending an additional $50,000 barely scratches the surface...

I'm going to find a 1964 Mustang coupe and have it restored, and a classic Jaguar for my husband, and also have it restored. These will be our "special treat" cars, not as everyday cars (already bought new cars for that purpose!). I love classic cars, and, well, why not preserve a couple of them? So, a couple hundred thousand there because it might be necessary to pay for importing the vehicle, plus all the parts needed, etc. etc. (Probably wouldn't be that much to restore two classic cars, but whatever is left over I'll give to an appropriate charity).

So down to about $2million, and at the moment, I don't have any plan for it. I guess I'll split that up between the four trust funds I set up for my kids, so each now has $1.5 million.

I have around 9.2 million, so I think I will donate $5,290,000 (Bipolar research), buy a car ($103,500), and save the rest ($3,896,500).

PLUS! 2 2008 BMW 7-Series (Alpina B7, and 750Li) as my everyday cars! ($100,000)
I bought 2 SUV's as well. A Cadillac Escalade ESV and a BMW ActiveHybrid X6 (I HAD to go green SOMEWHERE! ).

Day 2, $2,000,000 in my bank account. Today I am repaying another kindness, to the woman I live with, who has let me stay in her beautiful home in exchange for doing odds and ends around the house, and to whom I am eternally grateful! Today I will buy her home for $1,500,000! Which will allow her to move closer to her family and children. One of my biggest problems is believing that as a creative-type I can support myself with my work. Not just get by, but to be financially abundant. I have to change my mindset and playing this game I believe will definitely help me do that. 1 mil a day wow! Now that I have this money I'm not going to go out and start spending like crazy like I thought I would. A more true response for me is to take a day or two and really let it sink in that I am rich!

I have a whopping 5 million dollars to spend today. I have everything I could possibly want, my friends and family are taken care of, and much money has been given to my favorite organizations and individuals.

I decide to take my money and buy AED's (portable machines that can shock a heart into beating). These devices have literally saved thousands of lives. On the flip side, people are dying just because the emergency responders don't have access to AED's. I price them and find that the nicest model will cost me approximately $2,000 including tax. I decide to purchase 1000 for a total cost of 2,000,000. It takes weeks to distribute that many AED's. Many schools and ambulances have AED's but some don't. I litter the county with the machines. They are in schools, ambulances, taxi cabs, restaurants, malls, boutique shops, and some are even specially mounted onto light posts. It has been said that everyone in the county is within 1/2 a block of an AED.

I then decide to host my version of The Biggest Loser. I offer $100,000 to each person that looses more than 50lbs and ends up in their ideal weight range. 20 people reach their goals for a total of $2,000,000 given away.

I cash out $500,000 to use as spending money and I put the remaining $500,000 into savings for a total of 1.5 million saved.

Wow, $6million today. Hmmm. I guess I'll put it in a super-saver account and draw interest on it (did a quick figure on that a while back and found that $1million will yield approximately $80,000 a year in interest, so that'd be around $480,000 a year income ).

$3,000,000 today. Wow, I love having this income! It's so amazing to have all the money I could ever need or want to do whatever I want, to make gifts to whomever I want in exchange for all that I have been given over the years.

Today I am investing and tithing. I have purchased 13 shares of Birkshire Hathaway for approx $1,500,000. I am also investing in the company I work for, Estee Lauder, in support of their socially responsible product lines, such as Aveda. I am buying 5,000 shares of theirs and other socially responsible companies for $500,000. The remainder of the money I will donate to the public library system in the great state of Minnesota, an institution which has fed my mind and soul for as long as I can remember!

Thank you, Universe!

I've got 6 million dollars to spend today. I cannot think of a single item I need. I am happy, content, and more financially stable than I've ever been in my entire life.

I decide to team up with 49 other multimillionaires, one from each state in the US. They chose to select a town they want to sponsor and will match my donation of $2,000,000. I use my 2,000,000 to fund worthy social service agencies in my town. When all is said and done I donated an average of $200,000 to each local organization.

The kind people who matched my donation are responsible for a complete revitalizing of their town. Many people opted to donate money to teachers. Other people donated their money to single parent and struggling families. One person built a state of the art public library. Another donated the entire amount to a food pantry. All in all the money was well spent and helped countless people.

I am left with $4,000,000. I decide to take my family on vacation to the Bahamas. We stay for three weeks for a total expense of $125,000. Although I just moved into my brand new house (built prior to attaining such riches) I decide to build a log cabin on the property adjoining mine. It is by far the nicest, most luxurious log cabin that I have ever laid eyes on. The cost is 1.5 million.

I go to the bank and take out 3.8 million dollars in the form of $100 bills. I go on a spree, stopping at every restaurant and store within a 10 mile radius. I hand people $1,000 in cash and wish them well. I keep the small remainder of money as spending money.

$7million today. Okay. I'm going to spend $200,000 on furniture, appliances, and appliances for the house we bought. I want good quality things that will last. I'm also going to buy a new set of tableware and a complete set of flatware, complete with all the serving spoons and gravy ladle and so on, and I'm going to outfit the kitchen with useful gadgets (breadmaker; I don't mind baking bread, but I don't like the tedious kneading and punching ).

Then I'm hiring a personal assistant. I'm happy to pay top dollar, so I'll budget $90,000 a year (that's extremely good pay for a PA around here, by the way; some programmers make less than that!). Let's set aside ten years worth of pay (in an account earning interest), with a little flexibility for special bonuses and so on. $100,000 there.

Also going to hire an accountantcy firm to set up a charity foundation for us. It'll be a private not-for-profit that we can just automatically put money in, so we can claim it as a deduction and the charity entity will be able to donate it as appropriate, invest it, etc. I'll also need to hire a director for that, someone who can do basic accounting and review potential charities for donation and so on, but I won't pay as much as for my PA because my PA is going to have all kinds of errand running and other stuff to do, and the director of the charity will just need to go to the office five days a week during business hours (and the job won't be all that difficult; mostly phone work and web searches and light bookkeeping to give to the accountant quarterly).

So, I want to buy a physical office (let's say $300,000 for that; I want something big enough to have storage space and additional offices and so on) and hire a director. I'll pay for the office outright (and count it as a donation to the charity) and set aside $750,000 for paying a director for ten years (and that can be a donation to the charity, as well).

Also accountancy and legal fees, uhm.... I don't know how much, I'll put aside $100,000 for that.

All of that comes to just $690,000. Good heavens. Let's throw another $10,000 at the charity fund to get them started and make it an even $700,000.

That barely scratches the surface. I have SO MUCH MONEY that I can't spend it all. Even if I went out to dinner every night at expensive restaurants and bought lavish amounts of personal stuff (jewellery, perfume, clothes, etc.), I can't spend anywhere near all of it. And more is coming in every day, how amazing is this?! Wow...

I'll put $300,000 in a "Christmas fun" and buy some really nice gifts for people, like get my mother in law a Chanel handbag (they last forever if you take good care of them) and buy my brother-in-law some great photography equipment and so on. I'll just go on a nice shopping expedition, and because I hate finding parking and I hate driving in the city, I'm going to hire a limo for the day and a bodyguard/attendant to help me carry stuff and ferry stuff to the car. I'm not a big fan of shopping, but that sounds really fun, especially if the attendant is attractive, young, and male. I'll also buy some things for myself while I'm shopping. Things like, oh, jewellery, perfume, and clothes ).

Whew. Busy day, and I only spent $1million. That leaves $6million. I'll divide the rest of that up between the four trust funds for my children, so they now each have $3million (tax sheltered, structured, etc.).
