Folks ... This is what happened. On the night that I wrote "I'm bored ... I must create something new and interesting tonight" .... I proceeded to go into alpha to manifest stuff. But I really did not know what to create. So I just manifested for something "interesting" to happen. Halfway I grew a little uneasy. Because I am Chinese, and in the Chinese language, there is a saying - "May you live in interesting times!" - which is a kind of curse, actually, because it means "May you encounter all sorts of terrible problems." So I stopped manifesting. A little later, I went browsing on the Internet and I saw that MF Global had just gone bust. It was the hot news off the press, except that I was reading it in Asia time (at night, in my part of the world). "♥♥♥♥!" I thought to myself. I remembered that I have $50,000 parked in an investment fund managed by Man Financial. I immediately sent an email to my financial adviser to tell him to sell everything. But I knew he wouldn't read it, and anyway he wouldn't be able to do anything, until the next morning. Next I remembered that for this particular investment, there is a lock-in period. Meaning that I cannot sell it in the first 3 years without being hit by some nasty penalty fees. I could not remember the details off-hand though. I decided to go to bed. Nothing more to do. But as I went to bed, I decided that I would manifest for my $50,000 to be safe, completely safe, completely safe. Although frankly I could not see how. In the morning, my financial advisor emailed me some information and told me that there was no concern. My particular investment is in a Man Financial fund that was completely separate from the MF Global company that was going bust. They used to be part of the same group, but they had split up some time back. To avoid public confusion, Man Group then sent a notification to the London Stock Exchange confirming that MF Global, their former subsidiary, is now completely separate from them, and the Man Group has no exposure or dealings with MF Global. Oooh, my money is safe, after all. |

| At one point in time I would have been highly skeptical of this. But I've learned that there are countless timelines and that it's possible to switch around in them. So long as you've forgotten important details, or don't have conscious awareness of something, it can be changed by a seamless switching of timelines. We all see it as seamless because our consciousnesses are actually spread out among all of our various selves. I imagine that with practice, you could start changing even the things you do have conscious awareness of. Wstein's described doing this, he loses awareness of time after the event. |

People usually see all kinds of hocus pocus connected to that state like "doorway to your subconscious" etc. Just google it. | |

Have you consulted the I-Ching lately? I can't remember if I ever did that to deal with boredom, but self-activated insights only depend on asking the "right" question. At least that's how I have always looked at and applied the IC. Your being bored reminds me of the difference between the physical condition of being alone and the mental state of feeling lonely. I don't know, the only other thing that comes to mind is a saying I think came from Zen, "To use the self is to forget the self. Daydreaiming and worries [and perhaps boredomn, too] disappear." Hey, thinking in hearts is OK!! --Bill |
