I've heard some loa books say that you do all your visualizations and affirmations in the morning, and then you have to live in the present moment the rest of the day. I've also heard others that say the more positive thoughts you have, the faster you will attract stuff. What do you guys think? |

None, they are both in a way repressing the reality of life...you can't play the game of black & white and always expect white to win, you will just be living in denial. To attract what you want in life, is not the same as acting as if you already have it...wanting to attract what you want in life implies that you don't already have it, thus the possibility of attracting it becomes a lot less. But focusing on the acting and taking inspired action towards your goals while doing visualizations etc. will increase the chances of attraction. Last edited by Innersky; 10-26-2011 at 12:10 AM. |

| The reality of life is that you have tens of thousands of thoughts passing through your head every day. Best to learn to have control & direction over those tens of thousands of thoughts which determine what you see, hear, touch and feel as reality.

It's just like cooking. There are many different ways to cook. There is Italian food, there is Chinese food, there is Japanese food, there is the French way, the Brazilian way, the Indian way, the Indonesian way. They all work. They are all "right" in their own way. It just depends on what you like to eat. The exception is English food. It sucks. The English people do not have taste buds. |

Meditation is there for 2 things. To stop giving power to your negative thoughts by paying attention to them, and to feel better. Positive thinking is used to manifest and to feel better. Keep thinking positive thoughts, and meditate when you need to refocus away from negative thoughts. The "reality" you face everyday is an illusion originally brought on by your past thoughts. meditation and positive thinking has nothing to do with denial.
