Negative Truths are Lies in the Sea of Manifest Destiny

Thoughts come and go, often as they please. Recently, two thoughts were quite troubling to me. Both thoughts seemed true as hell and were accompanied by companion thoughts that claimed to lay out great "proofs." I don't want to give more credence to these thoughts by saying what they were. However, suffice it to say that they were limiting thoughts about where I stand and where I fall. These thoughts, if allowed to control my mind, would surely have made me feel sad and powerless.

When I tried to be positive and think that everything would be okay, the negative thoughts flooded my mind, screaming, "There's nothing to be positive about on these matters--look at the the truth!" Then the thoughts made their case about why I was doomed and how I should have escaped from the situation. Again, I tried to counter these so-called "truths" with positive thoughts. However, the negative thoughts screamed, "Lies! Your positive thoughts are lies!" On and on and on, the negativity raged against the light of optimism, adding "Positive thoughts lie--they are for weak people who can't see the truth!" Finally, the negative thoughts asked "where are your proofs that all will be okay? Tell me how things will get better!"

In response, I calmly told the raging negative thoughts: "I will not give you my "proofs" of "how" things will improve because it is not necessary. Under the Law of Attraction, I need not offer the "how" of it--the Universe will take care of that. Be gone, negativity--do not vex me with your talk of 'how.'" I then add: "Whatever your proofs are and whatever your truths are, they are all lies in the Sea of Manifest Destiny."

Here is why. Proofs of limitation and powerless in a given situation could--at best--be true for a short time only--for as long as one believes in such limitations and powerless, and for as long as one chooses to give away one's power. But in the larger scheme of "time," these truths are lies because the Universe can rearrange people, places, and things, to make different manifestations appear in our lives. Betters lives are our manifest destinies.

So in the end, lies of optimism become true, and truths of negativity become false. Thoughts are "lies of optimism" in dire circumstances, when we most need to be optimistic, because optimistic thoughts seem false. Thoughts are "truths of negativity" because in dire circumstances, based on the situation at the time, negative thoughts seem true. But in the Sea of Manifest Destiny, such negative thoughts are always lies because goodness will always come to those who can focus on manifesting positive change. Such goodness always vanquishes limitation and negativity.

So which is the greater lie? Optimism in the light of temporary, negative situations or negativity in the light of eventual manifest destiny? For me the answer is obvious: negative "truths" are the greater lies in the Sea of Manifest Destiny. Focus on this the next time you are besieged by negative thoughts. It will make a positive difference in your life!
