Default 30 day trial: crazy ass huge goals

My trial is to shift my focus to extremely huge goals, some of which will remain in effect and continue growing beyond my lifetime. For the sake of this experiment, I will choose ones that seem borderline unattainable. The reason for this is largely experimental, just to see what happens.

Goals at present:

An ideal new civilization
(shouldn't be too crazy to people who've practiced Tibetan Buddhism; it's the basic foundation of one of the mandala practices)

Buy my parents a house in the area of their choosing (seems chump change compared to "new civilization"!)

A vibrant new urban community that addresses the changing needs of
creative, innovative people in light of urban gentrification and rising costs of living

Create a scholarship fund for re-entry students who have innovative ideas

The idea is that because I don't actually expect some of these to be possible, I am actually creating an environment of detachment. I am also detaching from attempts to manifest the smaller wins while i do this, to focus on the larger ones.

I also have had the experience that the attempt to manifest a large thing, in and of itself, often took me in strange and interesting new directions. It seems worthwhile just for the attempt.

Some more thoughts on Incredibly Huge Ass Goals (IBAGs):

It's kind of a mental hack or cheat. You can't possibly take them too seriously. I am noticing that one thing that often shoots LOA in the foot is trying too hard.

Another thing about it is that by directing energy toward a goal larger than what I'm actually wanting to achieve, my assemblage point/energy is naturally and effortlessly pulled into line along that direction and the smaller goals pretty effortlessly pop into place. Hey, if I can build a moon base, a college degree shouldn't be so hard, should it?

This is based upon an experience i had when rather younger - my theory is, "intend a few levels above what you are actually identifying as your immediate goal" (if you're starting a business, intend to be a billionaire; if you want to go to med school, then intend to cure cancer). So I'm wondering what adventures I will have by knocking the goal way, way out of the park to the realm of the borderline ludicrous.

My suspicion is that my subconscious is going to try to find ways to make it happen with my given materials, and some interesting adventures should ensue. But I also intend to remain open to what happens as a result.

Default Day 4

Already experiencing some lifting of resistance.

By setting my energy toward a huge huge goal in the distant future, I've been able to release a lot of my more immediate goals and let go.

I am already seeing some fruition of this... Just today a friend (former employer) contacted me to offer me a roommate situation and my old job back, in the town I would like to live in. I'm doing the number crunching to see if this is viable. It's a sign that things are lifting, though.
